We had a great time at MardiGras. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The food was really good at the Buffet and reasonably price. We will definitely return soon. Loved having the Casino so close with no smoking just added to our enjoyment. First time at the Dog Track..LOVED IT..

This was our second stay here and we were just as impressed as the first time we stayed in 2014. The hotel staff is friendly and efficient, the accommodations provide a level of comfort rivaling that of more upscale hotels and the hot breakfast always delivers. Anyone looking for a Vegas-style casino experience this is not the place for you,...

While traveling around the northern KY area, we discovered this casino hotel was just 1 & 1/2 hours from Ashland, KY, so we took our road trip further north than we planned. After reading some of the reviews about not being able to check in early, we were very excited to see that did not apply to us (or anyone...

The hotel was fine. The casino was great and non-smoking. That was a pleasant surprise. However, do yourself a favor and bypass the buffet restaurant. "Golden Coral" has better quality, variety and price. Never been more disappointed in a casino restaurant. In conclusion, stay and play there but eat elsewhere.

After driving 4 hours and arriving at 3 p.m. (standard room check-in time) was told room would be ready by 4 p.m. (we had requested “accommodating” room, medical need. We left, and returned at 4:00 told room still not ready, waited 15 mins. again at the counter and not ready. Explained to receptionist that I work front line and understand...

We planned a two night stay and was eager to watch and bet at the dog races. First time doing that and enjoyed it more than the slots really. Both evenings we ate at the restaurant at the dog track and food was excellent. I had a BLT the first evening made with fried green tomatoes for a twist, and...

Stayed at this hotel Oct 13, 2016. Very clean hotel, rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. They had someone making omelette's for breakfast. We only stayed one night but i would stay here again. Also won a little money gambling.

Room was ok but nothing to brag about. The buffet was a joke- poor excuse for food and service. The slots are a total rip off and you see no one winning. BEWARE!!! You've been warned. I also left with the import they don't give two craps about their customers. To be honest, I'd fire all the managers and start...

My wife and I stop here for the night twice a year on our way to Louisville. She enjoys the casino in a smoke-free environment. Their French Quarter restaurant in the casino is expensive but excellent. Rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, staff is helpful and friendly. No valet car parking but plenty of parking close to front door....

We had a great visit, great food and a beautiful place. We have stayed there before but this time, the staff seemed so much friendlier. We had a great steak dinner for a very nominal price and it was delicious in a beautiful dining area.
