This was a wonderful trip and I can highly recommend it. We had a fantastic time. We enjoyed the food a lot, not 5 star but I enjoyed every meal. Nothing beats a good braai when you are from South Africa! There is also Wifi to get some messages out and phone coverage should you wish to keep in touch...

Sekoma island is not just about the natural beauty it's about the people from the security staff to hospitality and the guides, management are ever present and only happy to oblige the most trivial of requests, Sekoma is home away from home and on my return for the umpteenth time home is always a place you just know is right....

Sekoma Island and Ilombe Island Lodges are a great spot for some incredible tiger fishing. We stayed at Ilombe, the smaller (5 rooms) to and supposedly slightly more rustic lodge on the island adjacent to Sekoma. Having boated across one afternoon to see Sekoma, Ilombe certainly fulfilled our requirements. What we were there for, of course, was the fishing. Although...

It's a slice of heaven this place! We fished hard and caught some 12, 14 and 15 pounders. The tents are very comfortable, clean with great showers. The food was wholesome and delicious. All the staff were generally very friendly and the guides very accommodating. We will definitely be back to slay some more monster fish!

Although this review is rather late I believe it is still relative. Just to be on the mighty Zambezi river is one thing but to stay on a private Island leaves you so relaxed you do not want to go back to city life. The camp itself offers excellent accommodation in luxury tents with on suite facilities situated right on...

The staff were warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation is excellent, it's a beautiful camp and absolutely perfect for the environment it's in. As for the location - simply magical. We were picked up from the airport and returned, via the Victoria Falls, to the airport without any problem. I can't wait to go back.

Was lucky enough to do a 3rd trip to Sekoma in May 2016 and was very happy to find nothing had changed. From the time Peter picked us up at Livingstone airport to the time he dropped us off 5 days later we had a fantastic trip. The location, accommodation, food an especially the service from everyone is superb. The...

What a great experience at Sekoma - we went there to fish but was blown away by the overall experience. Every meal was fantastic - especially the dinners, filled with stories of what we caught and what got away.

As an avid fishing family, my brother and I did and overland trip via Botswana to Kasane where we were transferred to Sekoma Island Lodge. The transfer went off very smoothly and we were immediately delighted by the setting at the lodge. In true Zambian fashion we were welcomed by the most accommodating staff and shown to our tented rooms,...
