I stay in motels 5 to 6 days a week. This was the all time worst bed I've ever tried to sleep in. It was like laying on concrete. My back was hurting so bad it woke me up at 4 am. It does have a refrigerator, I'd recommend filling with beverages that will kill the pain from the bed.Did...

This place was awful!! The room was hot when we arrived. The room smelled! The bed was awful! The front desk person wasn't all that friendly. The room was dirty. The fan in the bathroom was squealing. The carpet was icky. The bed frame was backwards.. I hit my shin on the end that should have been at the wall....

We had been traveling since 7:30am- thought we would stay in Jackson but figured we could make it a bit farther. All hotels surrounding Charleston WV were booked solid. We were desperate & tired. The good things: air conditioner worked well, had hot water for showers, plenty of outlets and it was really quiet. The bad things: free wifi didn't...

Where do you start? Plenty of Police Officers in the parking lot; so I felt safe. Lots of staff living at the hotel; so someone was available to help with all your needs. I also thought the generosity of management was over the top when I had breakfast with a homeless guy. Thanks for the great stay.

Wouldn't even give this dump a star. Filthy, disgusting, HORRIBLE experience. Sketchy people surrounded us, locals say they come to do drugs. They give no refunds even after moving you to 4 different rooms and still not seeing one that even looks half clean or decent. The Place should be shut down for good! THE WORST OF THE WORST. GO...

The room was supposedly renovated but it was not. First of all it stank. Bad. We had to light a scentsy candle in there everyday. Then they had issues with their hot water tank. 3 out of 5 days we had no hot water. The "Continental Breakfast" consisted of a container of some sort of cereal and a loaf of...

I don't even know where to start with this hotel. The only reason we stayed is because we had to work in the area. There are so many that I'm just going to list them: 1: only one good clerk at desk The other clerks were young, always outside smoking and seemed bothered when you asked them for anything. One...

My husband and I stayed for a weekend visiting family in the area. There was a college football game at Marshall University so the hotels around Huntington were full or expensive for the weekend. We got a good deal online last minute so this was a site unseen, no recommendations given trip. This hotel shows some age so be aware...

I check in on September 22nd 2014 3:17 am with others, the first room they gave us keys to was across the parking lot from the office apparently it was called the Budget Inn. I thought I was checking in at the American Inn to begin with. I had asked for a AAA discount said none, asked if they even...

We stayed one night at the American inn (not the budget inn next door). We were given a non smoking that smelled of smoke. We changed rooms and the new room was still smelly and dirty. It was late so we stayed the night. Breakfast was dismal. Don't stay here...
