My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Brass Pineapple. We were attracted to the location in the historic district near the capitol of Charleston, and to staying in a B&B rather than a chain hotel. The experience surpassed our expectations. The owner and operator, Lisa, was there to meet us when we arrived. She showed us to our...

My wife and I spent a very relaxing weekend at the Brass Pineapple. All of our expectations were exceeded. The service was Outstanding. Meals were wonderfully prepared and presented. Our room was charming, comfortable, and very well appointed. The location is perfect. The Brass Pineapple is on a quiet street with a great deal of character but easy to get...

Thank you for the wonderful review and I enjoyed meeting you. It is a blessing to do what I love-running a very comfortable and elegant inn with fresh food and a clean room for our overnight guests. Thank you, Lisa

Everything was excellent. Would agree with previous review that queen bed against the wall a bit impracticle for 2. Great hostess who provides all the tourist info plus wonderful food and wine in afternoon. Definitely would book again

The location of the B & B is perfect, just a block from the State Capitol complex and an easy 2 block walk to a few restaurants. We stayed in the King room up on the third floor, very private, a little bit of a hike if you have a few bags. Bed was super comfortable! I will say that...

If you are into vintage and kitsch then this is the place for you. It showed that a good amount of personal care and effort had been put into decorating every niche in this once grand old house. Breakfast was ample - The Greek yogurt with berries were refreshing but I could have done without the pork which seemed boiled...

We were enchanted with the lovely holiday decorations! Lovely, cozy living and dining area. This is a 100 year old structure and shows a little wear and tear, but accommodations were comfortable. We were in the Bauer room and appreciated the nice en suite bathroom. The room was kind of small with the (comfortable) bed pressed entirely against one wall....

Brass Pineapple is a charming bed and breakfast. When we walked in the door I was overcome by the beauty and the granduer of all the beautiful holiday decorations as well as the elegance of the house itself. It was very cozy and welcoming. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend this...

Looking at pix and reviews, was looking forward to a cozy weekend in Charleston. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Roof leaks, longstanding, cover the ceilings. We were booked into a King bed, which turned out to be 2 full mattresses that folded down in the middle as they were old. Not at all comfortable, impossible to snuggle. Room was very dark,...

I do admit that I'm a little late in reviewing this gem but it's such a memorable place. I had no clue what to expect as it was my first B&B experience. The decor of the room and the home was very beautiful and reminded me of a home that's been past down from generation to generation. It has a...

Very close to the Capitol and to a nice running/walking path by the river. House full of antiques and nice front porch. Very nice welcome with variety of hors d'oeuvres and wine. Delicious breakfast. Charleston is a beautiful city.
