My wife and I happened across this place by accident. Carol and Ed were nothing but gracious hosts. The place was everything you could imagine and more. There was beautiful scenery on the way there and then when you arrived it was breath taking.I would strongly recommend this place not only to my friends but my family and if anybody...

We returned to the North Fork Mountain Inn to be greated as good friends instead of guests. As before, the rooms are large and comfortable and each boasts a wonderful view of the smoke hole. The lodge is clean and Ed prepares tasty and healthy meals. While there the June 2012 storm hit knocking out all power to the area....

As we drove up into the Mountains to the final destination of our bed and breakfast honeymoon, we were somewhat apprehensive. North Fork Mountain Inn is in the middle of nowhere. We got in the evening and driving through the precarious turns at first was somewhat alarming. When we got to the Inn, however, we were amazed. We were greeted...

My husband and I stumbled upon this little gem a year ago when searching for a wedding venue. North Fork Mountain Inn met all of our needs - welcoming, cozy, breathtaking views, relaxing, great food and exceptional hosts. Ed and Carol were upfront with us - they weren't ultra experienced with weddings, but were more than willing to give it...

We stayed at the North Fork Mountain enroute to another destination. What a wonderful place. The inn exudes warmth and coziness through out. The owners are most welcoming. Our room opened onto the main floor veranda which afforded a breathtaking view of the mountains and South Branch Valley. The room was large and comfy, the bed had fine linens and...

We visit Carol and Chef Ed at least once per year (more if we can). The lodge looks rustic, but is cozy and has all the amenities we need. We always stay over the weekend, so that we can take advantage of Chef Ed's wine tasting and dinner on Saturday night. It's always one of our favorite parts of the...

Carol and Ed are great! Wonderful guests to mingle with! The mountain is fun to climb and gives a great workout! It is secluded, keep that in mind..... but you see countless deer that come up to the lodge and hummingbirds, too. The scenery is wonderful. We have stayed there 4 times and will go back again this year!

The views from the lodge and the location are spectacular. The lodge is clean, well kept, and in excellent condition. We stayed in one of the suites, and the furniture, linens, bath linens were all clean, new, well kept. I loved the decor as well, very "rustic lodge"-esque. The bad thing about all wood buildings is there is nothing to...
