I rented cabin #12 for my family of five. The cabin was dated and a bit chopped up in terms of layout, but it was nice to have a bathroom, fridge and running water. I hated that there's no fire ring and I thought $125/night (Sat and Sun nights) was outrageous. It was private, though, which was nice. The park...

The lodge is a pristinely maintained step back into 1950s-60s travel. Rooms are clean, comfortable and practical with nice quality amenities like Made in West Virginia soaps, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, in-room coffee, etc. Rooms are small by today’s standards but they are definitely big enough and furnishings are “old timey” but in excellent condition. Nestled in the midst of...

The lodge is located in a lovely state park that includes what looked like a nice golf course and a lake/pond for swimming. It's a nice place to get away. The place is a bit of a throwback and that's nice, but I say that to set expectations. A room in the main lodge is fine but there is an...

Nice clean Lodge. They have cabins and other options for over-nighting. A lovely lake, golf, and hiking available. We were here for breakfast. Yummy! A nice buffet or you could order from the menu. We'll be back!

We had a great stay and didn't even have to leave the resort to eat! The food is delicious and service is wonderful. Clean rooms and great golf packages. Beautiful beach and playground. Tennis court and hiking trails. If you want to venture out, Berkely Springs has amazing dining options and lots of history including mineral spring spas.

Went hiking on Monday evening just for fun as we were in Berkeley. Great trails with some nice views. I also went to the outlook that views the 3 states. Loved the top, but the trail was pretty rocky. My wife and I hope to return and stay at the lodge this summer.

We are frequent west Virginia state Park visitors and this was our first time at this lodge. I must say the rates are great however the place is outdated and the room we stayed was very small to the point that a couple with small child will have hard time moving around the room. The staff was super nice and...

Spent the weekend in a 2 bedroom modern cabin. The full kitchen was great and we were so glad for the a-c. Very easy to prepare meals to grill. One downfall was no fire ring. We made do with fire in the outside grill. They have free wood outside for you which is a plus. Great trail system and fun...

We stayed at the Lodge over a weekend & had all our meals there. We were totally impressed with the quality of the food, the comfort of the rooms, the ease of parking & most especially the incredibly welcoming attitude of the staff from from desk to dining room to groundskeepers. The golf course appears to be uncrowded. There is...

We stayed mid april 2016 in a bungalow at the park. The price is amazing and the privacy that comes with it is refreshing. There is only room for one long table situated against two sets of bunk beds, with two twins in loft above, so small space with not much seating area inside, but that really enhances the feeling...
