Passing through and made a last minute decision to stay. We were a little uncertain at first glance, but pleasantly surprised by our experience. The owner, Chris, was very nice, helpful, and friendly to cyclists. Room was clean and comfortable, but in need of some updating. Nice TV, cable had lots of channels, and AC was great. Coffee, microwave, and...

During a crisis in our travels, we needed a place to stay. We woke up the owner, Chris in the early hours of the morning and he gave us a room. The room was clean, simple and comfortable (coffee, fridge etc) and served the purpose we needed. Chris was so kind and sympathic with our trouble and was willing to...

The owner Chris was very friendly and the room was reasonably priced but the room had cob webs everywhere and it was very worn out and out dated. The bed was so hard I think the floor would have been more comfortable. We were going to stay 2 night but after not sleeping and being afraid to shower we decided...

Old style motel. Good facilities for they type of motel. Somewhere to hang things and a shower and toilet that were clean and worked. Bed was comfortable and there was a handy table and chairs. Nice flat screen TV but nothing worth watching. Owner was helpful but would have been better if the concrete outside the room was swept and...

Over the years, several members of my family and I have stayed at the Red Apple Inn. We have never been disappointed, always had clean, comfortable rooms to choose from, and personable service from Chris, the owner. The kitchenette is always nice to have with dishes, pans, etc. ready to use! We will be back and have always recommended this...

We stayed here FIVE nights while we were building RANCHGATES outside of town! The owner CHRIS was a joking and "fun to visit with" guy! He gave us a great rate, the rooms were clean, plenty of hot water, and we enjoyed ourselves there! I think he is doing well-trying to CLEAN UP an old dump that he bought and...

He is a new owner and is renovating as fast as possible. in the meantime, he will let you look in the room and if you don't like it, he'll show you another. it's going to be a really nice place. It is more then...

“This time the room had a separate room with the 2nd (full size, not a cot) bed in it that made it nice for privacy and nap taking during our long trip!”

“if you are a fuss bucket wrapped in a luxury robe, don't go there until it's all renovated. However if you are down to earth and love a great opportunity, it's the perfect place.”
