I had 7 rooms and travelled with 20 high school students. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and current. Staff was friendly and accommodating and Diana in sales was wonderful to work with in regards to making so many reservations and changes leading up to coming. A great experience.

The rooms are well-appointed and clean. The hotel is near the center of downtown - great location. Good restaurants nearby; although the selection is somewhat limited, the quality is very good. Staff is super-friendly and helpful - excellent hospitality. The property features a lobby conference room that the hotel allows guests to use without reservation provided it is otherwise unoccupied....

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! One of the fun features of the Courtyard Go-Board (large interactive touch-screen in the lobby) is to find lots of activities, restaurants and businesses within a 5 miles radius. Our staff is ready to answer questions about where to eat. There are about 20 restaurants within walking distance, with everything from fast...

This is one of those hotels that has me torn when reviewing. So I'll just lay it out and let you decide. Let me start with the down side. Our room was small. We needed the king + hide-a-bed for our young daughter. The bed was so saggy, we took the mattress off and laid it on the floor. The...

Thank you for your honest review and for letting us know about the mattress. I'm sorry it was not satisfactory! If you told the Front Desk staff about it, thank you! There should be an easy fix to replace it with a firmer one. Here's a hint for future stays--our double-queen rooms are bigger than most king rooms and cost...

This hotel is across from the convention center and just a short walk from the art galleries, shops and U of W. The rooms are very nice, clean and well-appointed. I loved the comfy lounge chair, refrigerator and desk. There's a bar with a lovely view off the lobby. Parking is $10/night self-park or $17/valet. Weird to get Colombian coffee...

You're so right about the coffee -- we service Starbucks coffee and espresso in our Bistro but offer Columbian coffee in the rooms. It gives travelers a choice. :) Thank you for your nice review!

Rooms are nicely designed, very clean and well maintained. Check in and valet service were both quite good. Would be nice if the receptionist would note that the elevator requires the key card to be swiped. The lady at the coffee counter was extremely pleasant on Christmas day. The only negative is the condition of the equipment in the fitness...

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and complimenting the Bistro server who helped you on Christmas day. We aim to keep the fitness center in good working order, so please feel free to email me back and let me know what needs attention. We will also have someone take a look at the machines to see if we...

Stayed here over night and it was top of the line and wonderful relaxing trip. I was happy with my stay and the front desk staff was easy to work with. They got us a crib fast and the staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was one of the best we have had. I would recommend and come here again for...

I always love this hotel. The people are so friendly. They remember who you are each year you come back which means they have long tenured employees as well. The rooms are always clean too. Always ask for the mountain view and they are always willing to accommodate that request

This is a nice hotel, but I'm used to more pampering at the Hampton Inns. Bistro was very nice in the morning, a better breakfast than continental, but pricey. The location was good - lots of restaurants to visit within walking distance.

Stayed at this Courtyard while attending a conference at the nearby University of Washington Tacoma campus. The hotel looked like it had ben recently built or renovated. It featured the trademark Courtyard lobby with lobby lounge and menu; I had a convenient dinner there one evening. The rooms are standard Courtyard rooms: large, comfortable beds, plenty of work space, television...

Thank you for the thorough and complimentary review! We love hearing about how new the hotel looks. It was remodeled 2 years ago and it's fresh look is a testament to our great housekeeping and maintenance team. The ever-expanding University of Washington campus adds to the beauty and revitalization of downtown Tacoma. Thank you for staying with us!!

This is one of the finest Courtyards I have stayed at. The staff was gracious. The King bed was wonderful with an extra blanket in the closet - always a great touch. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for the nice comments. Some of our rooms (extra-large double-queen rooms) are like mini-suites with a large sitting area -- great for small parties or families. Parking charges have changed a little and the valet service is now $17. I just don't want anyone to be disappointed if they think it...
