My husband I stayed the weekend after Thanksgiving. We were there for some us time before the Christmas holiday craziness began. There were so many families enjoying breakfast with Santa and smores at night around the fire. Our room was comfortable and QUIET. The food and drinks are top notch!!! We will be back to enJOY the stunning views of... More

We love everything about Skamania...keeps bringing us back. One exception...rooms are not quiet. Outside noises heard easily...heating units noisy. Hasn't stopped us from going back, though....as everything else is top notch.

Our family loves the pool. There is a large indoor pool, hot spa, and outdoor hot spa. After 8pm, the outdoor spa is for adults only. Towels were always low the 3 days we were there. It's not even on the floors or anywhere for that matter. Looks like they're not being stocked. Rooms were okay, no view for us... More

You can't beat the atmosphere and sheer beauty of the location and friendly staff, but the food does not match up. This is the second year in a row where we were disappointed in each item we had in the bar...but the staff was excellent and the ambiance great.

Loud guests in adjoining room. You pay a 4-star price for a two star room. Lumpy, uneven bed. Dust in all the cracks, gunk on the walls. Paint the room. Doesn't look like the place has been upgraded since my last visit, 15 years ago.

We love going at this time of year. It's a nice break after the big thanksgiving dinner. A massage and facial is a great way to pamper yourself before the next big holiday. Thank you and can't wait to return.

A lot going for this hotel. Beautiful setting, good walks, big wood burning fireplace in beautiful Lodge sitting room, pretty good food (overpriced), beautiful room, good service. One really hard thing was that we were there on November 28th and the Christmas music was in every public space so loud that it was interfering with conversation. I was shocked that... More

We had been to the lodge many times just to hang out on the back patio and have a drink or coffee, but had never spent the night. We were part of a getaway with my husband's former employer and were just blown away by the accommodations. We had a spacious room on the 4th floor with a stunning view... More

Although I had played golf many times at the resort this was my first stay in the lodge. I had my wife accompany me to play some golf early and late around my meetings. We were not informed until we arrived on Monday that the golf course was closed Monday and Tuesday (the days of our stay). To top that... More

I love this place. Kids-friendly for many aspects. I believe this place is good for couples, family, friends, or even for solo - as there are plenty of different types of resources that your can enjoy.
