We stayed for one night in the Zelmar Cruiser and absolutely loved it. We are definitely hoping to come back and stay for longer. The Zelmar is the last camper in that row, so has a neighbor on the door side and a fence and trees on the other. I spent the morning drinking coffee out of a super cute...

Really nice throwback. Very kind and helpful staff. Thought it was really cool their "honor system" store and bikes. Enjoyed the spa and the ability to listen to different records. A really cool place to go.

I heard about this place through MercPerks in Portland. We stayed on a Sunday night in the Silver Streak, which has 2 individual beds, a small table, a refrigerator, kitchen sink and range (was told the oven did not work) and bathroom that included a shower. The kitchen also comes with basic cooking and eating utensils/pots & pans. It was...

I am rating this campground average but it is on the verge of being fantastic. I'm going to be a little hyper critical because I feel this place has so much untapped potential. We come up to the Peninsula every year for the Kite festival but this is our first time here and all opinions are based on someone who...

Long Beach Peninsula is fantastic and the Sou'Wester is a rare treasure. 3 sleeping options: the main house, the cabins and the trailers. All have their own wacky feel, all colorful with stories and characters abounding. Great beach access and dining nearby, in a charming neighborhood which beacons walks past classic victorian homes. It's neither shiny new, nor immaculate but...

Here's a place you'll almost never find, so if you're in the Seaview/Long Beach area, you simply must drop by at least. The lodge has a few rooms, but most guests stay in the collection of vintage travel trailers that surround the grounds, each refurbished in the eclectic, off-beat style that typifies this very unusual place. This is for eco-friendly,...

This great is a great spot for family and friends. Many vintage trailers and rooms in the lodge to choose from. This spot feels frozen in time. If you love old vintage hotels - you will love this spot. Nothing is new here but everything is clean and comfortable. The rooms in the lodge are huge - with kitchens and...

Stayed in the lodge in a room that is a 1950’s time warp. I loved the whole place from the vintage trailers and cabins, the honesty shop selling local produce to the open house bohemian feel to main lodge house. Listened to vinyl records, drank a bottle of wine and chatted to the staff and other guests in the open...

Stayed in the picnic trailer. As other people have noted, if you are looking for a posh hotel, this is not the place. It's clean (not spotless) but it is a campground and the trailers are vintage with vintage furnishings. So, it can feel a bit grungy. Also, it's not a high service kind of place. The staff is friendly...

The picnic trailer was perfect for my solo trip with my dog because it is set away from everyone else and has a semi-private backyard with tables and a fireplace. I didn't light the fireplace, but I hung out at the picnic table and drank wine as my dog sniffed at some oyster shells and shrubbery. We totally loved it!...
