I have stayed in the main lodge twice. Summer and Winter. Both are equally enchanting. The fireplace, the grounds, the lake, the other guests! It really is charming. And if you just take time to relax, pause and enjoy the surroundings, you will find other people around you as soothed by the setting as you are. Interesting people from the...

Lake Quinault and staying at the lodge is an opportunity to disconnect from the world. A fireplace and beautiful view await if you book the right room. The rooms are fairly simple but have a cozy feel and even with freezing temperatures in the vicinity stay quite warm. The main building is beautifully festooned with a tree at Christmas as...

What a wonderful way to ring in the new year----terrific New Years Eve dinner and celebration in this beautiful and historic hotel and restaurant! The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was immaculate, warm, and cozy. The TV worked very well but the internet was almost non-existent unless we were in the lobby. But---no need for the internet in...

We've stayed several times at Lake Quinault Lodge, enjoyed it every time, and this was no exception. The beautiful great room, or whatever it's called, was even prettier with Christmas decorations. We had a second floor fireplace room, with a gorgeous view of the lodge grounds and the lake. Immaculate, large room. Very expensive at this holiday time, but worth...

This was our 5th visit to the lodge and our second Christmas there. The lodge was built by Roosevelt's CCR back in the 1930's and it's romantic past is still alive and well. Lake Quinault is in the rain forest and receives up to 14 feet of rain a year. The best times to avoid the monsoons are the height...

If you are the kind of person who has stayed at US National Park Lodges and loved it, you'll love Lake Quinault Lodge. We went in winter (almost 50% off high season rates!) and had a wonderful time. It was peaceful and we had the hiking trails pretty much all to ourselves. We got a lake view room with a...

This venue is absolutely beautiful. The set up for the wedding and reception was perfect. My room was in the main lodge with a view of the lake. The rustic decor was charming. Walls are thin so be prepared to hear loud guest but overall the experience was excellent.

My wife and I discovered this comfortable gem about 20 years ago. We're repeatedly drawn here because the Lodge and its unique surroundings offer an opportunity for serious downtime - exchanging daily routines/concerns for a restful, restorative personal "retreat". Look for elk along the road that goes around the Lake. Also check out nearby Pacific beaches.

The wife and I visited after being enticed by a 25% discount for military and veterans, in addition to the $100 gift certificate our daughter gave us a few years ago. It made the trip pretty affordable (until we dined in the Roosevelt room at the lodge). This gave us a chance to scope the place out on our way...

This lodge is old but has been updated and it's a great way to unwind as most rooms don't have TVs or wifi. Although some do. The food in the restaurant is surprisingly good. The fireplace in the great room is cozy with big comfy leather sofas and chairs. We went in December and hardly anyone was there. Very nice...
