We were just lucky to find our way to this lovely property. Very quiet in the off season. Just the basics but clean and tidy. No fridge or microwave but the TV and the internet worked just fine. We appreciated a quiet night.

We stopped after having a great dinner at The Timber house Restaurant and staff recommended this motel close by Basic but comfy and clean and owner very pleasant and helpful We nearly didn't stop as trip adviser said No availability by partners which we thought meant they had no availability but on stopping There were plenty of rooms available. We... More

My wife and I were on a motorcycle trip and needed a 1 night stay somewhere in this area. We found Mount Walker Inn online and took a chance and booked a room for the night. The inn is set back from the road so road noise was not really an issue. Check in was fast and friendly. The room... More

I found this inn while driving by after leaving the ranger station and office for the National Forest. It has good signage. There is an office for checkin, two rows of cabins, a gazebo and lovely gardens. Rooms are simple with basic beds and baths but comfortable and peaceful. I loved the room on the end with the nearby picnic... More

The Mt Walker Inn is an interesting, homey place. We spent 3 nights in room #12, the closest to the office. It was actually a lot of fun. Despite other older reviews on the I'net, we had a bar size refrigerator, microwave, large screen TV, king sized bed and free adequate WiFi. We were greeted warmly. The owner has two... More

We stayed here the night before our hike to lake of the angels. The owner was super sweet and helpful! The inn is cute, charming and clean! We had a wonderful visit here and will be back on our next trip up this way.

My "wing man" and I arrived early on a very wet afternoon via motorcycles. The innkeeper welcomed us and even moved her car out of the garage so we could park our machines in the dry. She had the room ready for us, assisted in securing dinner and was most gracious. The property is well kept, the rooms spotless and... More

Our family booked a night on our way up to Canada, and we loved how friendly Chrissy was! The rooms were cozy, clean, and the free wi-fi was a great plus! There are some great restaurants in the town and a playground for the kids all within walking distance. The locals are super kind, and very helpful! Recommended to anyone... More

The lady in the office, Kathy was not very friendly. The room was clean, freshly painted, but sparsely furnished. No coffee maker, no microwave, no refrigerator. Tile floor, no carpet, which was very cold in February! Small table and chairs, bed, and one picture. It could be decorated with a charming touch! The grounds are very well kept, little orchard,... We stayed here for one night to take a hike the next day. It's a decent place, but pretty basic. It caters to pets, which I'm somewhat allergic to, and didn't seem to have a non-pet room. The walls are a little thin. But there are some decent restaurants nearby, the staff was helpful, and it did the job for... More
