We rented a room with a private bath. It was a cute room with a comfortable bed. Sadly, ironically, ???, shortly after we checked in, power went out throughout the entire town. The power was still out the next morning but the innkeeper did the best that she could to make everyone comfortable. I look forward to returning under better...

After reading all the reviews on TA, we did not hesitate to book a last minute room at Hotel Packwood. All the reviews were right-on and we were not disappointed. We arrived when the power was off and Marilyn gave us an option to stay or not and that she would supply a flashlight if we decided to stay. We...

My husband and I stayed in room 6 for two nights. The rooms are very clean and rustic. There was no bathroom in the room but two well kept shared bathrooms down the hallway. Very affordable. Marilyn the owner was very nice. We hung out in the living room and played games. Very homey and comfortable. Definitely will stay here...

We stayed at Hotel Packwood for one night while hiking at Rainier National Park. Marilyn, the owner, was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in one of the rooms with the private bath and found it to be very clean with great hot water. The room itself was very small and would have been a problem had we been staying...

Had a great room in front with view of street and my motorcycle. Rates are very reasonable and you need to phone to reserve a room. This hotel is often overlooked as it is quite old in style with the bath for most rooms down the hall. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Clean linens and clean bath. Good...

A clean, economical time warp. Perfect for our family's one-night stay between Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier. The historical photos in the lobby were interesting to our grandsons who learned about Teddy Roosevelt in school.

I stayed at Hotel Packwood the night before and night after a 4 day backpacking trip in the nearby Goat Rocks Wilderness. The room was inexpensive, simple, and clean. The owners Marilyn and David are amazing. I had a long conversation with David about how they got into the hotel business and cattle ranching. Marilyn, bless her heart, washed my...

We stayed at Hotel Packwood for two nights. It is a historic landmark in the center of the town. Marilyn and David could not have been better hosts. Our room was small but had everything we needed. We had one of the rooms with a bath. It was so cute! The large gathering room and wrap around front porch was...

This is our favorite place to stay in Packwood. Lots of backpackers, hikers and downright interesting travelers stay here. It kind of has the feel of hostelling in Europe. Two rooms have adjacent bathrooms and the rest of the rooms sharethe bathrooms down the hall. The community room has a fireplace and offers hot chocolate and oatmeal for breakfast. Rooms...
