Found ourselves in Olympia on Christmas Day at the back end of our family vacation. Stayed here once as Phoenix Inn before it was bought by Hilton. I definitely like it better now. Staff is very responsive and attentive and is up to the DoubleTree standard and that includes properties I have been at in Dublin, Seattle, and DC. The... More

Way over charged for value received. Rooms minimally appointed, charged for minimal breakfast, charge for internet. HH membership has no sway here. This establishment was similar in quality at a better Comfort Inn but at luxury prices.

This hotel is really nice --it is on the edge of downtown so there is much that is in walking distance and its very close to water so there are many public open spaces. Good to Great restaurants with 100 yards of the front door. Hotel staff is well trained and courteous. Most of the front desk people are really... More

This is ALWAYS a good stop. The people are tremendous. We use this hotel for business all the time and they are always welcoming and make them feel at home. The food is ok, it is pretty much quick foods but it is pretty good.

During my most recent 4 night stay for business in Olympia, the Double Tree provided excellent service, wonderful drinks, clean comfortable rooms and a nice warm cookie at check in. I truly appreciate the opportunity to stay at hotels of this caliber and comfort.

We had a wonderful stay with our grandsons. The hotel staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Or grandsons really liked the pool and breakfast. Lovely waterfront location to take a stroll along. Close to downtown for shopping needs and really easy access to the freeways. Nice location.

The hotel is pleasant and more than adequate. The staff is always helpful and charming. Parking can be a major problem because the lot is small; late arriving guests frequently have to park on the dark streets surrounding the hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room we had was amazing and beautiful. The bed was so soft we didn't want to leave. This hotel is on our top 2 places to go. The buffet was amazing with great food and the coffee shop was great. Definitely the best hotel in the Olympia area.

We've stayed at the Double Tree (previously The Phoenix) many times and will continue to do so.
