This is a grea place to stay. Tremendous comfort and unbeatable value. We offer our highest compliments to Ginger for her gracious hospitality and her delicious breakfasts. We spent 3 nights at the Charles Nelson as a home base to explore the Columbia River area. The 3-room B&B was beautifully decorated, inviting, comfortably furnished and, most importantly to us, quiet.... More

Lovely accommodation and very friendly host. I used to own this property and am so impressed with how it looks and feels today. I would stay here in a heartbeat. It is also close to Oysterville a national historic village. And the ocean is only a mile away. It is elegant and inviting.

Our family stayed for two nights at the Charles Nelson Guest House, and it was everything I had hoped for and more! Ginger is the most gracious and kind host. Breakfast was so delicious, the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on, and the ambiance of her quaint Inn is truly special. What a rare gem! She has amazing... More

My husband and I we're so amazed on this B&B. The owner greeted us at the door then showed us the whole house. Very accommodating and friendly. Our room is what we really need, a relaxing get away. The breakfast is like a breakfast of champions. A surprising breaded oyster for breakfast is a must try. All the food is... More

My family and I stayed at Ginger's for a family get-together and had the whole place to ourselves (all 3 rooms) which I highly recommend for your next family get away. I work in the hotel industry and highly recommend this wonderful B&B. Our rooms and the entire house was utterly spotless and in pristine condition. The beds are super... More

Ginger and Curt are an amazing couple who are so friendly and welcoming. We had the Charlie's room with views over the water. Very spacious and light with a bathroom with two washbasins and a shower. Very peaceful location. Breakfast was sensational - a delicious omelette freshly made by Ginger, fresh fruit and fried oysters. Out of this world. Ginger... More

Eagles and herons fly over the bay across the street from this lovely B&B. Super clean, quiet, comfy beds and lush towels, you soon know you're in a 5-Star guest house. I've been coming here with friends for many summers and we all agree that while we enjoy exploring the Long Beach area, what brings us back year after year... More

We stayed in the Elsa Room and we were very happy with booking this B&B. Wonderful home, clean and delicious breakfast. Beautiful grounds and loved the chickens and rooster. Ginger was a wonderful hostess and we would stay there again.

Ginger, your host, is a great cook, and the breakfast she served was truly memorable. When she asked you what you like for breakfast, you will get everything you ask for. I especially liked the pan fried oysters, but the quiche was outstanding too, not to mention fresh baked biscuits and any sort of egg you want. Oh - and the... More

Loved loved loved this B&B. We stayed in Elsa's room and absolutely loved it. The king bed was comfy and the view from the room is nice. Towels are luxurious and there is even a little dressing room between the bedroom and private bath. We met Ginger during our stay and she was so friendly. I highly recommend this B&B... More
