Supposedly the best suite for $200 a night: a 5'x2' wet carpet in the smaller bedroom, the freezer in the refrigerator was so iced over, you couldn't close the door, no connection to wiifi at all, the tv didn't work because the cable box was hooked up wrong ( we figured it out 45 mins before we checked out because...

This hotel is dirty but the people are nice in that makes up for it. I want to stay here after watching the hotel hell as I live in the city and did it as experience. This is some place. It has no restaurant just nothing but rooms. One of the better places to stay in Longview if you end...

The rating on Expedia was 3 stars. At best it is a 2 star, maybe. The hotel itself is a relic, an old dowager fallen on hard times. It is a "residence" hotel now, more likely closer to a "flop house." The rooms are actually in an annex, motel style. Its old, the furnishings are old, the beds are not...

The historic grounds and outer building appears stunning even as you walk into the lobby. You may think you are going to stay in a historically renovated room with past glamor and memories of the 19th century. Generally, this is not the case. Many of the rooms in the main, older, truly historic Monticello have not been kept up or...

We stayed at the hotel/motel once before and it is still a great deal for the price it is close to our family...the rooms seem clean (I always bring Lysol) and spray remotes, phones and handles anyway!!..it's a good practice. Rooms are fine size...the only thing you hear between units is the water in the bathrooms...its loud...but manageable.... Our only complaint...

We did stay in the fancy rooms, although we might have been the only people. It was not bad, with a kitchenette. It was difficult to eat at the t able because the chairs were very soft. Some of the furniture was odd, plaster made up to look like something Roman. The bar and restaurant were closed, which was the...

Let the historic building not fool you as to where you are going to stay. You will actually stay at the dirty dingy two storey motel next door. When I booked I asked for a room in the main building on the 3rd or 4th floor. On checking in that was not the case. The reception area is fairly well...

We stayed at the Monticello for one night as a stop over for some sleep while traveling between two points of interest. It was perfectly adequate for sleeping, It's a very no frills type of motor inn. The beds were comfortable enough the facilities just fine. There was a slight musty smell in the room, nothing the A/C until and...

Arriving at the hotel you go into the lobby and sign it. Then they told us to go out the side door and climb the stairs. This takes us to another building. This is where we stayed. The building reminded me of something from the 1960s. The room was spacious and with modern updates. We had a very nice stay.
