We drove over to Mt. Rainier NP after a 3-day stay in Seattle. We made our reservation only 2 months in advance...our visit was in mid-Sept. We chose NPI based on what we read online. It was spot on! A short drive from the Nisqually entrance, NPI is close to several easy hikes (walks, really, but lovely). We ate breakfast... More

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on Sept 7, 2016. We were in room #6, which was a twin bed (double & single) room with bathroom, located on the first floor. There was adequate parking outside. As advised on the website, the room had no TV, no air-conditioning, no wi-fi and no fridge. There however was a fan... More

First time to Rainier and was totally blown away. The mountain is so big. Have always seen it from airplanes but being that close is another experience. Hiked to Snow Lake. Beautiful lake and the trail around Box Canyon. Then drove to Paradise Visitor's Center. Always need to visit the center and watch the movie. The views there are amazing.... More

Hotel restaurant trying to be classy with high priced items. But quality isn't there and selection not very good. Saw a family cooking their meal on a camp stove in the parking lot, I was jealous. Room was tiny with a full size bed. Down the hall was a one toilet bathroom. If you like a little rustic and are... More

The Inn is located just inside the National Park in a feorested setting (unlike the Paradise Innfurther up the road). the buildings date from the early 20th Century and are the annex of an older hotel that was destroyed by fire. As such the Inn is smaller and more intimate than Paradise, and lacks the panoramic views seen further up... More

Loved staying at the National Park Inn... had a small room with a shared bath. No problem at all getting showered in the morning, there was no back up waiting for a shower room to open up. Rooms are small and comfortable, the dining room staff was friendly and helpful and the food, although not gourmet, was served hot and... More

While this inn is not the Paradise Inn up on the side of Mt. Rainier, it has a beautiful setting with a great view of the mountain. More importantly, the rooms are small, but adequate. No A/C, but a fan is provided and the nights cooled down. Shower was a shared affair. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The... More

The room was very comfortable and it was nice to have private bath! We really liked that we were right in park, so in morning we were able to go early to Reflection Lakes, to catch reflection while water was still calm. Went down to have dinner in restaurant, which was just okay, not something i would probably do again.

We stayed just one night at the National Park Inn. It was rusric, but it was what we expected. The lodge was built in the early 1900s. It has been updated, but still remains a bit rustic. All was clean and comfortable. The view from the porch of Mt Rainier is spectacular! We were pleased with our stay.

We spent two nights at the end of December at the National Park Inn. It is located in Longmire, just after the Nisqually entrance to the park. We had passed it for many years, but decided we'd snow shoe at the park. They have about 25 rooms at the Inn. Very rustic, with sinks in each room and shared bathrooms... More
