After reading great reviews of this place, I really expected more. I hate to be the first to downgrade this B & B, but I try to be honest for others. The drive up to the SE was pleasant, and we were greeted by the owners. This is a nice touch. I also must say that they accommodated us for...

Initially, my husband and I planned on staying at this B&B for our honeymoon in December 2014, but ended up going to Iceland instead. Ultimately, the adventure was so exhausting that we ended up booking a weekend here anyway. I'm SO glad we did! Linny and Vern were the most wonderful hosts. When we first arrived, our poor little car...

The ambience was incredible and the service top notch. Food that any foodie would search high and low to discover. Serene and tranquil setting amounts the Alpine timbers. Charming room accommodations which fresh linens neatly pressed. The owners make you feel at home.

We thoroughly enjoyed the warmth and atmosphere of this darling B&B. You couldn't find kinder and more delightful innkeepers who aim to please their guests. The views and home are like those in Norway. Loving cared for and immaculate. They have a pool, hot tub, large deck plus a hammock and swing...all with lovely views. Intimate and charming, we really...

This is a small bed and breakfast in the fascinating Alpine-styled town of Leavenworth, Washington. There are only 3 rooms...two smaller rooms and one suite. Pay the extra and opt for the suite. It has two balconies and a private entrance. The view was so breathtaking that instead of venturing into town on Sunday, we stayed in and spent the...

This place is a delightful break from the run-of-the-mill hotels and B&Bs. We felt like we were in a gracious European home with artisan touches. The secluded setting featured a beautiful mountain few and the Scandinavian décor was authentic and so charming. A bonus was the gourmet breakfast and the warm hospitality of the innkeepers. This place is a hidden...

We stayed one night at Scandinavian Escape B&B in the Birch Tree room. Very comfortable and quiet. The room is small but the creative decorating and gorgeous grounds and private setting more than make up for the room size. Each of the 3 rooms has its own private entrance. Coffee is served an hour before the delicious breakfast is delivered...

“I would choose the Valhalla Suite or the The Little Cottage. These are larger than the Birch Tree House. All, however, are delightful, delightfully appointed, very clean with wonderfully comfortable beds, separate entrance and balcony.”

“As I said earlier, opt for the suite. There is a fireplace in the sitting area, and it is so cozy, even on a slightly cool day. And the bathroom!!!!!! The shower itself is worth the stay. Huge and open, with river-rock walls and floor and two shower heads. We could have stayed in it all day as well.”

“All three rooms are on the second floor which also has a small library where coffee is served, and has a small fridge and wine glasses available.Of the three rooms, the Birch Tree room is the smallest, but so comfortable. Each room has its own bathroom and fireplace as well. We would like to try the room with the Jacuzzi next!”
