Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Was a bit unsure about the all inclusive meals (dinner and breakfast) however was very sold. Close enough to go to Leavensorth to see the lights and sights. Would advise booking ahead.

Sleeping lady was a perfect way to end our trip to WA. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, the food was great, and the rooms are adorable. We loved that we could walk to the river and the play barn for the kiddos.

Wonderful service from all of the staff. We loved the natural setting. We walked most all of the property. Lots to cover, but so very nice walking around. Great art all over. Especially the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture. Stunning.

Does the Rookery room have any type of kitchen amenities?
Bren, Thanks for your inquiry. The Rookery has a small refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee pot. We are an inclusive resort so a gourmet dinner and hearty breakfast are included in our overnight rates.

Dog friendly? Can we bring our well behaved canine family member?
They have dog-friendly rooms. Go to their website, select accommodations, and left nav to the "Canine Companions" section for details. Simply make the reservation, and add in the notes your request for a canine room. They are super supportive of your well-behaved dog friend, and make it very easy, including dog bowls in the room and poo bags on the property. Just make sure to bring your leash, and a crate in case you leave them alone during dinner. I am sure they must have a limited number of rooms, but I have never had a problem with a reservation.

When does the town where the Hotel is located decorae for Christmas? End of Novemeber of middle of December? Thx, Kathy
We were there in July so I'm sorry that I can't help you. But there was a beautiful Christmas store in Leavenworth where I found a painted tree ornament by a local artist.

Hi, I'd REALLY love to stay at Sleeping Lady this summer with my small family - husband and our 2 year old who would sleep in a pack and play brought along with us. My questions are (1) how are the rooms sizes if we were trying to fit in a pack and play? (and it fits in ok, is it simply too small a room for there to be any separation between her crib and the bed?) and (2) if we stay in the canine companion suite and bring our 17 lb, what do you do with them while walking through the property grounds/eating at the Kingfisher? (Don't most hotels require you to never leave dogs alone in the room? We have only ever brought the 4-legged child along on vacations while camping or at vacation rentals). Do they allow dogs on leash walking around the grounds?. Thanks!
Good morning, I'm delighted you are looking to bring your family this summer. The canine companion rooms will accommodate a pack and play without being too cramped. We do allow you to walk about the grounds with your friend on a leash and provide doggie stations on the grounds to keep things tidy. The only time we would need you to leave your friend in the room is when you are dining in one of our public spaces. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions you may have and we hope to see your family this summer. Sincerely, Paula Helsel, CHA General Manager

"No refrigerator in the room. Had a little dog smell but they do allow them so to be expected."
"Cabins are groups of 4, sometimes located around a central feature, sometimes scattered in the trees, a few on the hillside."
