I've stayed at this location over the past few years and have noticed a marked improvement in the room accommodations. They've overhauled the rooms, got rid of the old carpeting, improved the bedding and replaced the televisions. Everything in the room seems to work now. I'm pleased with this level of improvement; the owner has put an effort into reviving this business.
We spent one night at the Econo Lodge and, perhaps because we were traveling with our small dog, our room looked nothing like those depicted. Worn and tired are the two descriptors that best capture the place. Ours was not a carpeted room, so remained cold and uninviting, with an imitation wood floor. The bathroom had a shower enclosure that was cracked and gaping holes in several places. Walls were scuffed and cracked. There was one stuffed chair that when you sat in it, you knees were at your chin. The place was basically clean and the check-in man was friendly. Not certain I'd stay here again.
This is not a fancy hotel. For a budget hotel it has big rooms that seem to be well maintained. It was clean and had a breakfast, although it was all carbs - waffles, cereal, toast and rolls. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grocery store across the street has a pretty good deli, so that’s where we ate supper. We were pretty happy with our room!
Big room, clean place, breakfast ok American style - waffels, coffe etc. Grocery store close by if you need to stock up for the next leg of the journey. Big parking lot. In all a place to sleep one night.
Slow internet, continental breakfast consisted of waffles only, door in adjoining room slams waking you up, plan on going out for your meals. The room was large, however for a queen bed it seemed much smaller
