love this place so much, we have been back over 15 times! It is a great break from the busy life in the city. I love that there is no cell phone coverage and no wifi. Well, they do have wifi, but as remote as it is, it barely works. Do not go up there if you expect to stay...

We discovered Mt. Adams Lodge at the Flying L Ranch a few years ago when we were looking for a place to celebrate my husband's birthday. Since we live at the beach, a mountain getaway was just what we were after. Julee and her staff provide a warm, comfortable and relaxing destination for their guests. The cabins and rooms are...

I would never go back to this place, the owner was rude and extremely disrespectful. Wifi was promised but didn't work 3 feet from office outdoors, rooms were freezing, common area was told was animal free yet a cat lived there and others were sale to let their dogs inside. My biggest problem is being yelled at and belittled in...

I was looking so forward to a cozy couple nights away from the city, but have never felt more ready to come home after our stay at the Mt Adams Lodge. This place has seen better days. The thing that put me off the most was the false advertising online and over the phone. The place boasted of 80 acres,...

My friend and I decided to spend the MLK three-day weekend exploring Mt Adams on skis and snowshoes. We thought that $175 plus tax a night was a little on the pricey side but the Mt Adams Lodge described itself as rustic with a wood burning stove, delicious hot breakfast and 80 acres of land to explore on skis or...

Spent a long weekend hiking the Mt Adams trails with the pups, this was the perfect cabin for us. Quiet, no tv or phones (one in the office), it was the perfect getaway. Complimentary breakfast in the main lodge; kitchen in our simple little cabin, equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking, coffee-maker, etc. Clean & comfortable; not a...

I am writing this review mainly to address the remarks about the owners, as our experience was that they were friendly and helpful and I did not witness any rude behavior toward any of the guests. We have stayed at quite a few cabin-type places, and these cabins are nice and well-equipped. The main lodge is nice also. It is...

These are nice simple cabins, but it is hard to get past the rude owner to make a decent review. We rented all 4 of their cabins for a pre-Christmas time family gathering. My husband was wondering if we could get a vacuum to help keep the floors cleaner for our 3-day visit as we have young children. He was...

The proprietors of the Mt. Adams Lodge are friendly and helpful. They provide clean and comfortable lodging that is convenient to many attractions in the area. The setting is beautiful and the property has tremendous potential. However, our expectations were much higher going in -- the description made this sound more updated and upscale that it actually is. For example,...

I feel sad to say, but think Tim and Julee are tired of working in the hospitality industry. It's such a wonderful place, but they aren't very welcoming or happy people. Asked about a Special because I run a rental and Julee was completely rude about it. The rest of our group experienced the same type of deal... for example:...
