Detailed Reviews
The marketing photos looked great however this motel is not as nice as it looks in the pictures. We were very disappointed upon arrival. This motel is good for 1 night when there is no where else to stay and you’re on a budget. It was chosen for its convenience to the reception venue but in hindsight we would have been better off staying in a hotel closer to the city centre.
The mattresses in the 3 rooms we paid for were uncomfortable, sagging and old. No good if you have bad back.
—
The rooms were spacious and air conditioned. The rooms were clean.
Cafes are within walking distance.
It did the job but it was like a throw back to the 70’s

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night. I had just had an operation and needed to stay in Adelaide for another night. The room was small, the bed was pushed up to the wall. My hubby needs a CPAP machine at night and there was no power points near the bed to plug it in. We moved the bed so we could both get in it and use a power point and underneath was disgusting.. I do not think that they have vacuumed under the bed for a long time.. There was old band aides, earplugs and other things. We will NEVER stay there again

We stayed in a family room and was surprised it was on the 2nd floor as it was not mentioned in the advertisement. Had very hard time carrying luggage as there was no lift.
Room was very spacious and had table, chairs, sofa, small fridge, microwave etc. Pool was not available on the day as it was closed for maintenance, which is not that great.
Good for 1 or 2 nights but not for more than that.

The place either needs to be knocked down or needs a major refurbishment. I did not expect much considering the budget but the room smelled so bad, that I did not want to stay. The service was unacceptable for any standard of a motel because they were very short-staffed (which is common at the moment). There was no one at reception when I arrived and they had to be called to get service (during book-in only). I believe the staff did try their best, they just seemed to be overworked. Upon arrival, I was informed that I had to pay an additional $50 deposit for my room key, which was not noted when I booked (via Booking.com). When I asked for some documentation to confirm payment of the refundable $50, I was told that it is a new policy and there was not any paperwork, which I would think is not entirely legal.

Absolutely Disgusting.
We booked Jackson's motor inn based on convenience to an appointment we had in the city. I have stayed in budget accommodation plenty of times before, they have always been clean and tidy, low cost is no excuse for a motel to resemble a crack den. This place was not only loud from the street, fellow guests were noisy at night too. The room smelled of cigarettes, there was cigarette stains on the edge of the spa as well as other various marks and hair in the spa. There were stains on the bed headboard, the floor was dirty & the bed was rock hard. The sheets were actually clean, but that's the only redeeming thing. We booked 3 nights here and because we arrived late, we were too tired to cancel and rebook elsewhere.
We left early the second day. After having such a terrible sleep we decided we had enough. reception wasn't open to speak to manager properly at 8am, so I dropped the key off and called them for a refund for the day we cancelled. According to the receptionist it is in their policy they don't issue refunds for cancelled accommodation. This is actually not a legal or legitimate "policy". We were so angry this place essentially ruined our stay in Adelaide, we will be contacting ombudsman.
If you value your peace, hygine and comfort, DO NOT stay here. Sometimes it really is worth paying a bit extra to stay.... literally anywhere else!

Would stronly advise against staying at this establishment. It was unclean, unsafe and nothing like the pictures you see on their website.Room tiny exposed open wires hanging from missing heat lamps that looked like they had caught fire, filthy carpet, horrid smell,no benches,1 wardrobe that had a wall insde so minimal space.Large cracks in all walls of bathroom. Double bed with single size quilt and no extra blankets or pillows quilt no cover. Lots of other guests had these issues also including blood on supposedly clean sheets and having to buy an air mattress to sleep on. Very misleading and disappointing after a 5 hour drive and no other alternatives.

A great place to stay for business or for families. It is located in the lovely suburb of Glen Osmond, not too far from the city and attractions.
The rooms are clean and well maintained. However, unlike some of the other reviews, please do not expect 5 star quality for a 3 star price. The rooms are large, well appointed but are not brand new.
There is plenty of parking on site. There is also a pool which was getting used by many families while I was there. A great place for young families to relax.
If you are looking for an affordable place to stay with a pool and great customer service, then Jacksons is a great choice.
I was arriving from interstate and arriving after check in hours. They were very helpful in letting me arrive after hours and organizing everything for me.
Highly recommended.

Great location, noisy but being close to main road it's to be expected. Spa was deep and very relaxing, Netflix and youtube available on smart tv, wifi easy to use. Room was clean and tidy. Airconditioning kept room toasty warm. Fridge, microwave, cups, small plates, spoons and a platter was provided perfect for my needs. Only 2 pillows so if you want a few creature comforts bring your own.

This place is filthy. Hole in the wall curtains have black tape on them so they stay shut. Mould in the bathroom. Generally dirty. We pre paid 3 nights accommodation and wouldn’t have stayed one if we didn’t arrive so late. Checked out next day although promised 2 nights refund never saw it.

We came here for two nights on the weekend. The room was sapcious with a double and single bed. As we were only a couple we could use the single bed to spread out our stuff. There were TV, heater, AC, fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and ironing facilities. Oddly there were no plates, forks and knives which made the dinner cooking difficult. However, with breakfast they provided plates. Breakfast was delivered the night before in a bag. It was actually alright, including some chocies (toast, jam, butter, canned fruits, corn flakes, milk, juice). The bathroom was also spacious. Everything was clean. It's a large motel but the guys at the reception were friendly. We always found parking close to our room. It was quiet to sleep. I would stay here again.
