My husband and I ate dinner on the patio. It’s a very nice setting, very relaxing. Beyond the restaurant we saw deer that were roaming the grounds. The service was good. My husbands fish was great. My pasta dish was a bit too salty. It’s...More
After being terribly upset with my travel agent's failure to notice the terms of reservations at Deer Harbor Inn made through Expedia (immediate charge to my credit card, non-refundable, two-night minimum), I requested her to contact the lodge and Expedia to rectify the problem as...More
Perhaps it was the dreary damp weather, but everything at Deer Harbor also seemed somewhat dreary and damp. It's probably a delightful place to stay when the weather is warm and dry. The internet coverage was bad. That said, everything was very clean, and the...More
We enjoyed the quiet, natural setting and roomy, comfortable cabin with a nice hot tub. The king bed was great, everything was clean, loved the decor but a few things need help. The shampoo/soap dispenser looked awful. There was no box of tissues anywhere. There...More

Thanks for the feedback. We have replaced all the dispensers and upgraded to very high end spa products
We stayed in the Lodge with deal from Travelzoo. Room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant one evening. Food was delicious, and service was great! Deer and rabbits were entertaining. This is a low key, easy going atmosphere.

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
