We were so happy we spent the night here and wish we could have stayed a few days. The beautiful property was only exceeded by the warmth and kindness of its owners, Joy and Joe. The "cabin" was modern, clean and had all the conveniences needed plus more. 30 yards from the river. Great mountain views. Quiet and peaceful.

We were warmly welcomed into the B and B by Joy and Joe, two charming, very hospitable people. The B and B is spacious and very quiet because it is located on a large, well-landscaped property. While eating breakfast, you can look out onto their lovely yard filled with all kinds of perennials, trees, and bushes. Joy and Joe are...

I have stayed with Joe and Joy 2 times now. Each visit has been wonderful. The owners are the most delightful people. Our conversations are always great. The property is a place where I could live and be very happy. There are cows and hummingbirds, not to mention the heard of elk that have been there each time. The river...

Our party of 3 couples rented the three rooms at Elk Meadows. I had never stayed in a B & B before so was a little skeptical. What a pleasant surprise! It was just lovely. Joe and Joy were truly a remarkable. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. And the abundant breakfast was enjoyed by all.

Elk Meadows was the best of the three bed and breakfasts my wife and I encountered on our recent vacation. The facility (their home) was clean, modern, nicely furnished, and quite reasonable in price. The owners handled our late arrival graciously, the conversation flowed effortlessly, and the breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Be sure to...

A great place. Lots of interesting features to the house, including the Russian chimney. Very clean. Nicely furnished. Super comfortable bed. Tasty and healthy breakfast. Very hospitable hosts. We talked for hours. They dry their own fruit, bake their own scones. 100 yds from the scenic Dosewallips River. 400 yds from the Rocky Brook waterfall. Easy walk and a fine...

We spent four nights at Elk Meadows with Joe and Joy enjoying their lovely home and gracious hospitality. By the time we left, we felt like family! Our hosts were so helpful making recommendations as this was our first trip to the Olympic Peninsula. They even sent us off with "provisions" of fresh baked scones and fruit from their garden...

We we on a circle tour from Victoria to Port Angeles to Olympia and beyond We chose this B&B for its location and because the price was right and the pictures looked good. We weren't disappointed. Spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed in an utterly peaceful farm setting. The house is a beautiful post and beam with a huge living room...
