The room was adequate and the bed comfortable, it is getting dated and could use an update. We at the buffet and it was not worth the $24.99 price. The Prime Rib was very good but the salad bar sadly lacked and there was not a great choice of vegetables. The frozen crab legs were bland and tasted freezer burnt............waaaaaaaaay...

Just a super ordinary casino experience. Two weird things stuck out for me. One-they have a 30 minute limit on drinks which is the strangest thing ever especially in a casino of all places. Two-The Casino closes from 5am to 9am, not that I am a hardcore all night and morning gambler, I just found that strange. The food was...

A month or two before our trip, we got a phone call letting us know that the pool area will be closed. A day before the trip, I called to check about the pool. This time, they said that it was open. We would have liked to have a phone call letting us know, but that didn't happen. Good thing...

The suites are really nice and a very good value for the price, the couch was like hospital furniture, should be upgraded. The casino is too smoky it was disgusting. The nicest restaurant the "Grill" is set up like a café, not fine dining. The food was ok. The wine was too pricey. If we went again I would stay...

We traveled with my mother in law for the weekend as she loves to gamble at the Skagit. The hotel is very convenient in proximity to the actual casino itself, as they are located next door. The front desk staff are pleasant when you walk in, as opposed to many other "chain hotels" that I have visited in the last...

The Skagit was a great hotel in every way. It was super clean, the room was incredible and the staff were very friendly. We had a King Suite which includes a fireplace as well as a 2 person jet tub. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Even though the hotel has a casino, you could not smell smoke there....

Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10 miles north from Mt. Vernon and stay here. The rates here are comparable to the mid-priced hotels in the area (e.g. Quality Inn, Best Western) and the hotel is very new, very clean and very nice. Plus there's the bonus of having a restaurant, buffet and casino on site so no...

We ( I should say I because my wife didn't really feel we needed to go anywhere since we are headed for Las Vegas in November) needed a break and have now picked Skagit Valley Casino as our choice three times in a row. It's fairly close to decent shopping as well as Bellingham, a city that is growing in...
