My wife and I had a wonderful time at Mountain Rose Inn. The inn, grounds, and area are all beautiful. We found the room and bed to be extremely comfortable and the inn keepers couldn't have been more welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious. The drive to Floyd and area wineries is picturesque and not too far, but staying on the... More

What a surprise this gorgeous B&B is. We booked for one night, but stayed the week. Beautiful, clean, spacious and romantic rooms. And the managers Bruce and Valerie are the most dearest people. And they can cook! Every morning we were treated with a great 3 course breakfast. The location is marvelous; the house stands on the top of a... More

I have just finished with a stressful project with my job and my wife suggested a trip to the mountains. She could not have picked a more wonderful place. We had a bottle of wine, cheese and cheese cake waiting for us in our room. We spent time sitting by the creek listening to the water as we had the... More

This Inn was a halfway stop on our way home. We are always waiting to try and see different things, so we never go back to the same place twice, but we are already planning a trip back to the blue ridge mountains because of everything we feel we did not have time to see. The Mountain Rose Inn was... More

My wife and I were looking for an alternative location to stay while attending FloydFest 2015. To give my wife credit, while she enjoys camping, she does not enjoy "Festival Camping" being immediately on top of other people with limited space and privacy. What can I say about Mountain Rose Inn?? We were exhausted after a long day and this... More

After a 6 hour drive from Luray it was a pleasure to roll up at the door of The Mountain Rose inn and be greeted by Bruce with a short tour of the B & B and cookies and coffee. In idyllic surroundings we sat out on the balcony in rocking chairs and watched the stars as night set in.... More

My husband and I decided to make Mountain Rose Inn our "halfway-point stay" during our drive from CT to FL. We wanted to give our young teens (a boy and a girl) an experience at a B&B. Well, they loved it: the comfy beds, the late-night popcorn snack, the experience of fishing in the river, and the pool. My husband... More
