Cedars is first and foremost convenient to both the College of William and Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. It's across the street from Morton parking lot and Mason School of Business while a 5-10 minute walk gets you to the heart of Merchants Square in Colonial Williamsburg. It's also very clean. The housekeeping staff has been there for many years (10+)...

Thanks for the kind review! Without question our location is a big part of guests coming to Williamsburg and William and Mary. I know you were visiting the college often on your trip and I'm happy you were able to work well on our WiFi while you were away from the office for so long. Our housekeepers want to make...

Had a great family stay at Cedars over Easter weekend. Truly delicious breakfast provided every morning by the delightful innkeepers, with a thoughtful and special menu on Sunday. Our family of six was nicely accommodated in three clean, comfortable and unique rooms. Location is convenient for both Colonial Williamsburg and William & Mary.

I've said before that my favorite aspect of owning The Cedars is talking with guests in the morning. Y'all and your family made that part of my job so wonderful. Whether it was talking over a few locals beers from the area on Friday or over coffee after breakfast in the parlor, y'all were a big part of making my...

The George Washington suite on ground floor was fine as I was recovering from surgery.Large comfortable bed, lovely adjoining sitting room having mock fireplace which exudes heat/light and adequate, albeit, somewhat small bathroom.Breakfasts were always sumptuous, varied and very tasty.New owners are quite young, hard working and knowledgeable of history concerning the revolutionary era.I highly recommend this exemplary bed and breakfast as it's...

Wow! Thank you for such a glowing review. Any B&B owner will tell you how much work goes into having guests' stays be absolutely perfect and I'm glad to hear that you had a good experience. I'm happy to hear too that you enjoyed our history talks at breakfast. By no means is that the only topic we discuss (you're...

My cousin and I had a fabulous stay at this beautifully decorated and extra clean b and b located walking distance to the historic area and across the street from William and Mary College. Innkeeper/owner Alex was great--clever, helpful and great personality. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious and well prepared by a trained chef. The grounds include a lovely gazebo...

Thank you for taking the time to review our B&B! I'm happy to hear your breakfast was so exceptional. Hailey - our new cook - loves to make guests happy with her original, tasty, and seasonal meals. I'm glad they hit the spot. And thanks for seeing the cleanliness. It seems these old houses are dust magnets! But our housekeepers...

Upon arriving we were greeted promptly by Alex with his friendly and helpful demeanor. He was full of knowledge about great places to eat and fun things to do. He showed us the ropes, but was really great at being inconspicuous too. We stayed in the Martha Washington room, which was tasteful, quaint, and cozy. Others have reviewed the room...

Thanks so much for taking the time to review your stay. I'm glad to hear y'all had a good time! I'm happy to hear your thoughts on the Martha Washington. It certainly isn't palatial but certainly more than adequate; it was wise to research it as some enjoy the size and others do not so thanks for your thoughts. I...

Thank you for joining us at the Cedars and seeing what Williamsburg has to offer. I know you thoroughly enjoyed the Botticelli exhibit at the Muscarelle Art Museum on the W&M campus. The next time you're here, you should check out our other art museums or even come for the monthly art shows in Merchant Square. Thank you also for...
