The grounds are very nice & amenities are decent. However, the 3 bedroom condo we rented was quite worn for the $$. Advantage is u can eat in with full kitchen. I expected better from Diamond Resorts.

Our family Christmas vacation started off with a big scene in the lobby. Check in went great but then we went over to get out welcome package. A man named Phil, argued with my wife and got her very upset. After the scene and we were outside she had to use her inhaler and take an anxiety pill. We told...

We had three adults and 3 children stay in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit. We were in Williamsburg to attend Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. The resort is close to all local attractions and restaurants. The unit was big enough for the seven of us and was clean. The full kitchen got plenty of use and had everything we needed....

Although we've been to Powhatan many times in the past this was our first time there in five years. There were two things that made Powhatan very special for us; the private hot tube room in each unit and the wood burning fireplace. We came prepared with kindling and matches for the fire and candles for the hot tube only...

We arrived to very dated rooms with the most uncomfortable beds and pillows that I've had at a resort. I can handle dated but get me a good pillow. But that was the least of it ... Our first night there we got a call at 9pm from concierge trying to get my sister to do a presentation. Who calls...

This was a hard place to rate due to the varying pros and cons. All in all, we will NOT stay here again. Our week long stay was reserved well in advance and no where was there an indication of "lots of stairs". When we arrived, I was clear that my wife was disabled and requested a ground floor. The...

We have been coming to the Powhatan Resort for almost 30 years and have always enjoyed our stays. It is a great location and close to historic sites, great restaurants, and shopping. As Diamond members we book the deluxe units that have hot tubs and nicer rooms and nicer bathrooms. The property is beautiful and well maintained and they are...

Trip report Day 1: Arrival Upon entering the reception area, I was met by an attendant at the door who politely checked for my name on her reservation list, then pointed out that I would go to the reception desk, and that I could then proceed to the “Welcome Area,” another desk across the room. Once I checked in, the...

The Resort was really wonderful👍The 1bedroom apt.was just beautiful. In fact I told my husband I could move right there to live forever. It had everything you needed for our stay. The grounds even in the winter were beautiful. Plenty to do right there if you didn't want to leave the property. Didn't visit the restaurant or coffee shop but...

Cons: Unit was out-dated and worn. Sofa and chair were uncomfortable and shabby. Wi-fi had poor connection. Some minor damages to furnishings were obvious. Fireplace was non-functional. Gym had very limited equipment. Pros: Bed was comfortable. Bar and Grill restaurant was very good. Staff was friendly. Location was good, grounds were pretty and well maintained.
