We enjoyed two very comfortable nights at the Liberty Rose B&B as guests of our gracious hostess, Sandi. This bed and breakfast is so charming and the gardens are just so lovely and peaceful. Sandi is so warm, knowledgeable and friendly! She was very interested in getting to know us and providing us with some terrific advice that enhanced our...

Sandi and her son Michael are simply the most fantastic people, and wonderful hosts. The B&B rooms are elegant, clean, and comfortable. The morning breakfast is stellar, and the best we've ever had. Michael makes home made Italian coffee with his special contraption, served with steamed milk; it made us coffee snobs feel like coffee amateurs. Breakfast was home made...

We picked this spot for a recent two nighter with our daughter in Williamsburg. The place is easy to find, very near Colonial Williamsburg and William and Mary College. Very reasonable for these parts, too. Sandi, the innkeeper, is firstly a lovely hostess, full of knowledge to share and willingly helpful. She's also just very welcoming, as if you are...

I have visited this Bed&Breakfast several times and it never fails to delight. The grounds are beautiful, with a relaxing love-seat swing. The breakfasts are delicious in the sweet, romantic breakfast room. The beds and linens are remarkably soft. My favorite thing about this place is the attention to detail in the decor- it is so enjoyable to walk around...

This B&B is my absolute favorite. It's charming beyond belief. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There are lots of places to relax and enjoy the scenery. Inside, the common room is fun and inviting. The best though are the suites. They are well beautiful, clean, the service is amazing, and it may be the most comfortable bed I've...

This is a truly magical place. My wife and I are in love with it - and we even fall in love with each other again and again every time we stay! The interior design is not only beautiful, but tasteful as well. Each bedroom has a different stylistic theme, and none better than the other! The outdoor space is...

This is a one-of-a-kind place. You'll enjoy every minute of your stay. Comfortable, creative, convenient. The Liberty Rose is the kind of place a President of a company or country would stay. It is that special!

My wife and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway from Chesapeake. The location was easy to find our stay was great. There are snacks available all the time in the downstairs living room. This included sodas and water. We were about a 15 minute drive from Busch Gardens and even closer to downtown Williamsburg. We opted to have...

My wife and I are both experienced travelers. We decided to stay at a B&B for our 29th anniversary rather than stay in a hotel. Good choice. We researched the B&B's around Williamsburg Virginia and chose the Liberty Rose. Great decision! Sandi, the owner, is charming and attentive. She is also an extraordinary decorator. The Christmas themed settings were so...

This B&B was perhaps the most beautiful one I've ever stayed in. The furniture was superbly appointed, the bedrooms have ample towels, luxurious sheets and comfy pillows, robes, wine glasses, videos for the DVD player and several places to lounge. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The yard was gorgeous, and my daughter and I swung on the tree...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Williamsburg's only Four Diamond Award B&B is celebrating 30 years in business. This turn of century beaded clapboard and slate roof gem sits on a hilltop acre of woods and beautifully appointed intimate patios along pathways that wind through magnificent gardens. Inside you'll find rooms so luxurious yet comfortable you're unlikely to find anywhere else. The hosts are warm and friendly, with tips ready to help guests have a uniquely local experience. Each suite has free wifi, cable TV, stocked complimentary minibar, plush bathrobes, locally made organic spa soaps, and lots of privacy. The complimentary chocolate bar is always filled with sweets and the breakfast room, called The Nest, has lovely views of the gardens from every two person table top. The breakfasts are designed and elaborated with local organic ingredients whenever available and are as delicious and unique as they are filling. You may want to take a few recipes home after your stay. Chose one of the new weekend #stayandeat packages that include a Saturday evening Argentine Gaucho styled Asado BBQ prepared by the Liberty Rose cook who lives part time in Buenos Aires and uses only grass fed organic beef at our new natural fire place grill. The Liberty Rose is a bike friendly B&B so bring your bicycle and discover this beautiful area with pedal power.
