We stayed here after a section hike on the Appalachian Trail. As backpackers, we were not extremely choosy, but this place is really run down. I don't think anything has been repaired or updated in 20 years or more. The rooms available still are the...More

Do not stay here. Awful price for an awful hotel. We got stuck here due to bad weather, and now I wish we had risked another half hour in the intense fog and rain to find anything else! Filth, Dirt, Ew.

Beautiful Americana from a bygone age. Essential essence. Mountaintop fog and views surpassing any hotel anywhere. Lush surroundings. Sacred. Zen residence.

We did not stay here. A relative of ours booked a room here to attend our daughter's graduation. He didn't stay here either. It was too disgusting. Fortunately, we had an extra bed in our condo and he stayed with us. You can see it...More

We stayed here as it was close to the entrance to Skyline Drive. What a mistake. Ceiling was moldy and falling in, walls were moldy and bulging as if they were ready to completely crumble and the carpet looked as if it had not been...More

I would like to know when it is scheduled for demolition. I would also like to know if it is the City of Waynesboro or the county that is responsible for inspecting this place and closing it down. The travel websites (Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz and the like) should put this hotel on their DO NOT BOOK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE list when it comes to lodging options.
