We spent almost a week on Sangat Island, and really enjoyed our time there, thanks to Andy and his great and fun team: Very relaxed, yet well taken care of, great diving with Master JoJo (including a few amazing wrecks and a diving license for one of us), delicious food every day, beautiful, peaceful sunsets and nights at the bar....

I really enjoyed the resort. It's completely isolated from the main land and you are forced to totally unwind and relax as there's no internet, tv, radio, mobiles, etc. Between dives all there is to do is to lie in a hammock and read a book and have a drink. The resort is classed as an eco lodge and power...

We spent Christmas on the island and it was a wonderful experience. The huts are lovely and the beach is beautiful. On our second night there, we got engaged! So lots of special memories on Sangat! The staff are so helpful. Jennifer was willing to take a few photos for us and Brian did an amazing job creating a champagne...

We paid around PHP 120,000.- : two people for seven nights, 2 SDI Open Waters licences, a few more dives, snorkeling, a couple of massages, all meals, some cocktails and beers in the evening, airport transport, some postcards and more from the shopping mall (mind you, this is a little shop of around 6m2, that provides any extra you may...

We arrived there less than a month after Haiyan typhoon had hit the area and you wouldn't believe it affected Sangat island, at all. Flights and transfers from Manila to Coron were on time. Sure, there is still a lot of debriss around the country, specially fallen trees, but once you leave the mainly populated areas the lanscape is just...

Home just 6 hours but wanted to make sure to give a review...the place and staff are that special...! You'll never believe this but... we didn't really go there with the intention to dive ! The beach looked so pristine, the cottages just perfect... after several weeks in Manila, a place to read, swim, snorkel; some kayaking... but we just...

We stay at Sangat resort about 1 week after the Typhoon hit, we could see damage to one cottage but if it wasn't for the internet and our previous destinations in the Philippines we would never have known anything had happened. The resort was exactly as we had hoped it would be. Paradise. We heard a lot of people were...

We were due to arrive from Coron the day after the Typhoon hit but we delayed our arrival by a day due to the surrounding mainland mass destruction and remaining weather conditions. On arrival to Sangat island, it was astonishing at how untouched the resort was. There was some damage to a couple of the beachside cottages and a lot...

Thank you for the review and happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately we have been receiving a lot of emails from people concerned about coming here and even cancelations because of typhoon Haiyan. As usual the media are only portraying the devastating effects this typhoon has had on some communities in Northern Palawan and not the whole picture....

I contacted the resort very last minute since my trip was not planned. The reply to my reservation request email was very fast and accommodating. They picked me up by boat from the hotel I was staying at in Coron. As soon as I approached the beach of the resort, I knew i had made the right choice by coming...
