I am so glad that I booked this property over other options for our Urbanna trip. Upon checking in we were warmly greeted by the owner, John, and Liz, housekeeping. Liz walked us to our room, which was ready for an early check in and reviewed the amenities as well as check out

Our boat was in need of repair so stopped Urbana as a safe harbor. Very pleasant surprise as the harbor is wonderful and we were able to stay at this wonderful inn. An old style motel back off a Main Street, but so lovely, comfortable and affordable. The rooms were up to date

A group of young sailors and their parents stayed here for two nights during a Youth Regatta in Deltaville. This was my first trip, some their third, and it was just amazing. Liz greeted us with all the information we needed, our suite for 3 of us was spotless, comfortable

I just love everything about this Inn The décor is beautiful, the rooms are very clean, it's in a great location, and Liz and John are very helpful and friendly. Our last visit involved food and a trip to Windmill Point. We always welcome a chance to eat at Merroir and we did.

Folks in Urbanna raved about Merrior in Topping, VA (just a nice drive from The Chesapeake Inn). However, we did not have an especially good experience there. I think if you order oysters, you can't go wrong, and the location is really great. The Chesapeake Inn was working to open a seafood restaurant at the Inn. I don't recall when it will be ready, maybe July. Otherwise, a place across the street called Something Different has a very varied menu including some seafood choices. Urbanna could really use a top notch seafood house. Sorry, not much help.

"Not a bad room choice in my opinion!"
"Suite 0 at the end of the hall was super quiet and away from the main intersection"
"Choose an inside room for a little more quiet."
