Thank you for the years I enjoyed your accommodations while my daughter attended Mary Balwin College. You superb location, attentiveness, and comfortable amentities perfectly suited my wishes and needs each stay with you. Now that she has graduated, my daughter and I plan on occasional day-trips to continue enjoying both Staunton and Frederick house. Bravo. W. Moyer, a Maryland resident

My wife and I went to the Frederick House for our anniversary over the Memorial Day weekend. We've been to Staunton numerous times before and had stayed at the Frederick House about 8 years ago (under previous owners). The hotel, more aptly a bed and breakfast, is in five historic buildings set within very easy walking distance the main street... More

Beautifully appointed, antique filled suites and rooms. Delicious breakfast. Within walking distance of a wide array of restaurants and entertainment. Right across the street from Mary Baldwin College.

My husband and I just returned from a fabulous long weekend in the Shenandoah Valley and Frederick House presented us with an outstanding jumping off point from which to explore. Our room was beautifully furnished, extremely comfortable, and perfectly situated within the town. The owners of Frederick House were warm and hospitable, and they should be commended for running an... More

My boyfriend and I were in Staunton for a wedding over the weekend and decided to partake in the B&B experience rather than settle for our usual Hilton family hotel. While Frederick House's location is ideal (just steps away from Staunton's main shopping street), my satisfaction with our experience ended there. As soon as we were shown to our room... More

As caring Innkeepers that love to be able to send our guests off talking about what a wonderful time they have had, it is truly concerting to see that one of our guests left not happy with their experience. The hardest thing to do at this point is correct that experience after the fact. We truly believed that you wanted... More

Since 2003 we have stayed sixteen times at the Frederick House, and have found it not only consistently good, but consistently outstanding. We have stayed in six different rooms and suites. On our last visit, we were given a tour of some of the refurbished rooms and suites in two of the buildings, and found that they had been made... More

We stayed in a suite and were amazed by the size of the rooms and the quiet location. The town is charming and we were especially impressed by the Black Friar Shakespeare Theater. Our hosts at the Inn were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the three breakfasts. We hope to return some day soon!

I've stayed at the Frederick House before on trips specifically to Staunton, but this time I was traveling with my 10-year old daughter to Washington, D.C. on Amtrak and decided to spend a day here on our way just because of the great experiences we've had previously. The Innkeepers, Karen and Denny, are always gracious hosts and keep the various... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely B&B! The parking is free and close to rooms. Location is excellent, right in the heart of downtown. Our room had a beautiful decor and was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the plush bathrobes provided! Breakfast was delicious and was enjoyed at the privacy of our own table. What a gem, we... We stay at the Frederick House in historic dowtown Staunton two or three times a year. Recently, my husband and I spent four days in Staunton. Last year my two sisters and I met in Ohio and drove to Staunton to celebrate a birthday. Whenever we go we see whatever the Blackfriars Playhouse is offering - only a stroll away... More
