When we travel up towards the northeast we always stay at Walnut Hills Campground. Why? It's easy to get to, it's clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Plus, we enjoy eating at a local German restaurant located nearby.

We don't have a gate, though we do ask that if you arrive during quiet hours (between 10pm and 8am) they take care not to disturb other campers with noise and light.
