Absolutely wonderful experience from check in to check out! The staff members and owner are so friendly and helpful about local references and what to do. It's a must visit! Also, the cedar hot tub and bocce ball court are a great way to unwind and enjoy the fireflies in the evening. Can't say enough great things!

My husband and I travel to Shenandoah National Park each year for some hiking and get-away time. Instead of staying in the park, this year we stayed at the Inn, based on a recommendation, which was right on. We chose the Music Room with two views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was very comfortable, although my husband didn't like...

We arrived on a Thursday and were treated with a private tour and history lesson from the owner Cliff which was worth the price of our stay alone. The property, accommodations, breakfast, service, staff, dog (Hannah) were all amazing and made our belated honeymoon incredibly memorable. We went antiquing, hiking, honey and jam shopping, visited art galleries, had wine and...

My wife and I, from the moment we arrived, wanted for nothing! The atmosphere, the scenery, the surrounding hills, are extraordinary. Our first experience with breakfast here was remarkable, so I will. There was home made granola, fresh fruit, and yogurt. Farm fresh eggs done to perfection, farm raised lamb hash and bacon. French press coffee, orange juice, and more....

We booked our stay at The Inn at Mount Vernon Farm for 5 nights with one thing in mind- to get away from it all and totally relax. Boy, did we ever pick the right place ! First, I must say that Deb, the innkeeper was an important part of the puzzle and was more than helpful in planning our...

Staying at the Inn at Mount Vernon Farm that was an excellent experience and provided both quiet and comfort for a weekend away. It was great to have modern amenities and conveniences while being able to see the animals on the nearby farm, visiting the local shops, and talking with the owner and his family about the property and county....

I spent three nights at the Inn at Mount Vernon Farm and was completely charmed by the owner, staff and setting! We wanted a post Washington, Thanksgiving, getaway that was near SNP for short hikes and near the Inn at Little Washington for a once in a life time dining experience. Breakfast was delicious and different each morning with Deb...

My mom and I recently returned from a wonderfully relaxing three night stay at the Inn at Mount Vernon Farm. We loved staying in the cabin behind the main house and having our own cozy fireplace. One day it rained and we had the best time just sitting by our fire, drinking coffee, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. Heaven! For...

Spent three nights at peak foliage season. Wanted a place nearby Old Rag Mountain and the Park. Spent some time here as a kid eons ago and wanted to show my girlfriend the area. Could not have picked a better place to stay. Tastefully appointed farm house on nearly 1,000 acres of farm and Shenandoah foothills that has been owned...
