Got 2 rooms using Hilton points for my family, we both enjoyed our rooms. Very comfortable and clean and the free breakfast was good too. Easy parking situation and you can see the planes coming and going on the runway from the windows! (at least in our room you could). A bonus is Patron Mexican Restaurant, which is literally across the parking lot from the hotel.

I stay at this property because it's very comfortable. The rooms give you plenty of space to work, eat and relax and not feel like the only place you can sit is your bed. The staff are very pleasant and the location is within 2 mins of the highway going in any direction. Great property!!

Sister hotel Homewood suites 16 miles away was providing breakfast and afternoon social. This one was not at the time of stay. Any breakfast food you must take back to your room and eat. No seating in the eating area. No evening social.

Booked a suite here for one night on dive back north from NC. We've come to expect good things from the Hilton brands and frequently stay at Homewood properties. This one was awful. Its more of a stopover for truck drivers than anything else. The suites have not been renovated in a long long time. Things were water damaged in kitchen and cabinets. Refrigerator ice maker was broken. Pool had been closed long ago. outdoor areas were dirty and filled with beer bottles and cigarette butts. The door on our bathroom was rusted from age and humidity and squeaked so much that I was afraid that anyone using it during the night would wake the whole family. I spread liquid soap on the hinges until it quieted down. Stains on floor and even when the place was new it was obvious that they used the lowest bidder to do the constructions. Stay away. The one person we dealt with at check in was pleasant though.

Beware!!! If you book a suite , you may end up with adjoining rooms.
Very disappointed in the Hilton Brand, I booked a suite in April 2021 for 5 nights, 2 Db beds and 1 King size bed , instead I was given two adjoining rooms . I was charged for two separate rooms . I felt that was some sort of switch & bait .
The hotel had disinfectant wipes only one night at the elevator, after that nothing .
I didn't book a 5 star however , this does not rate as a 3 star accommodation. Found fruit under table , cleaning wasn't to par .

No breakfast nor warning on check in that there is no breakfast. Restaurants serve food during virus crisis, why cant hotel?

We stayed on night at this location since we had an early flight. Proximity to Richmond airport is great, hotel itself is terrible. Blind walk in and reserved a room based on the lobby (updated) and what we assumed would be typical Hilton standards. The room was disgusting, it smelled terrible, the decor is early 1980’s-esque. Had the room been clean, it would have been okay. But the room itself had ripped carpet, water damage on ceilings and wall behind bedside table, black mold-ish looking areas, dirty walls, hair in shower, grimy carpet, dust/bug webs on walls, the air conditioning vent was filthy, the bed was very noticeably sunken in the middle, seemed to be a spring type mattress as well - very weird, uncomfortable bed. The breakfast array was poor, the eggs mealy, the oatmeal primarily water, the coffee was decent though and the orange juice was good. There is only one trash can in the breakfast area and it’s across the room from where the food is, so if u want to throw anything away, you need to walk across the room , which is not great if u are carrying a dripping waffle mix cup. Also no trash can in the main lobby area, I had to bring a tissue up to the front desk to ask to throw it away in their trash behind the counter. The only positives at this hotel is that we didn’t get bedbugs, the proximity to the airport and the front desk staff was nice and welcoming. For $181.00 a night, we expected more. Overpriced for what you get.

I booked this hotel for its convenience to the airport and as a frequent work traveler, I could save some cash by eating meals prepared in my room. The first night, I gathered the utensils and found the below condition! I am not even sure what was left on these utensils but it was disgusting. They called and asked for the GM's email address so I can address it with him/her direct. I was given a bad email address that is never looked at. This was confirmed after the second night. I got the right email address and emailed my experience to "Bob" on January 23rd. Never got a reply or even an acknowledgment of receipt. Someone credited me one night stay as what I see as a shut up and go away gesture. I have called Shamin Hotels, the owner of this property 5 times requesting a return call. I have received NO REPLY at all. I will avoid this place and ALL hotels associated with this hotel owner and will advise all business travelers I know to do the same. I highly suggest you do the same.

I booked a room at this hotel for my first night in the US, following a trans atlantic night flight and a full day touring northern Virginia. I specifically asked a quiet room, but that was a bit much to ask for. The hotel is the opposite of sound proof. I could hear other guests, I could hear planes taking off or landing and I heard other noises.
I am a Silver Honors member, but I was not greeted as one during the check in. This is no big deal, but in my following stay I saw the difference.
The worst disappointment was the breakfast that was hardly edible. The hot dishes were mildly warm (the eggs) or simply cold (the bacon).
The attendant was hardly seen, but when she popped up and brought a new supply of bacon, it was still cold.
I will also mention that the inside of the room looked dated and could do with renovation.
On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, and I did manage to sleep a few hours, so it is not all bad.

I truly wish I had the right words to write how absolutely disgusted I am with this place. It is horrible! We made reservations for a King Suite. They gave us an accessible suite. When I showed the manager my confirmation, he refused to acknowledge that I was correct and that he gave us the wrong room. He claims he is sold out and could only give me another handicapped room on the second floor. He claims that my room is so shabby because they are remodeling. What about the stains on the ceiling? What about the gross bedspread? What about the furniture from the ‘60’s? What about the frayed rug? How can we even hang clothing in the closet when our clothes touch the floor? Where are the hangers? The only reason we came here is to see our grandchildren swim in a big event or we would go to a different hotel.
