The rooms have updated furniture and super large screen TVs (2). The restaurant has very good meals but limited beer selection (probably due to Covid and costs); I was pleasantly surprised the restaurant was open. A downside is the room A/C. The first room I was given had a barely functional unit; the fan runs but the A/C wouldn’t kick on or when it did, it was only for a minute. The desk gave me another room and it was much better.
The front desk gentleman in the late afternoon seemed to have trouble working the reservation/key system. The young women working on Thursday afternoon was much more proficient; I give kudos to her.

Have stayed here twice in the last two months. Both times the front desk staff and cleaning staff have not been very friendly. The first trip our room was dirty with trash on the floor and a sticky bathroom floor. They did place us in a new room which was clean. The second time it took a long time to check us in despite using mobile check-in. Also there was no mention of our Marriott status, not that i need to feel important, but sometimes it is nice to choose a snack instead of points when checking in. There is only a small Starbucks for breakfast. The bartender on both visits were friendly. The rooms were ok, beds were average and room size was average. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of food choices nearby. This could be a really good hotel with improved customer service and breakfast.

Areas for Improvement:
Climate Control: The air conditioning unit produced a noticeable banging sound when engaging the compressor. This could be disruptive for guests with a light sleep, even with the fan running continuously.
Hot Water: Hot water was unavailable at the bathroom sink.
Front Desk Staffing: During my stay, the front desk was staffed by only one person at all times, which could lead to longer wait times.
Sheraton Club Lounge: The Sheraton Club Lounge was unexpectedly closed throughout my stay. While the reason for the closure was not communicated, it would have been helpful to receive advanced notice. I did receive a $10 food credit at the in-house restaurant.
Bed Comfort: The mattress exhibited significant wear, with one side being noticeably sunken in.
Positive Aspects:
Airport Shuttle: The shared shuttle service connecting the hotel to several airport properties and the airport ran smoothly and efficiently, exceeding expectations.
Shower Amenities: The shower offered excellent water pressure.
Spacious Rooms: The room size was ample and comfortable.

Sheraton Richmond Airport is the closes Marriott brand hotel to Richmond International Airport. Recently renovated, this hotel provides the traveler with the essential accomodations for a great night stay. Conveniently located next to RIC, the shuttle service takes less than three minutes to get to the respective departure gate.
The hotel's club floor is highly recommended in the fifth floor. It is extremely quiet and it has access to a lounge. The club room is quite spacious, approximately 425 sq ft. and it has its own living room area, spacious walk-in shower, two tvs, and comfortable bed. The club lounge provides snacks in the evening from six to eight pm, and breakfast in the morning. There is a computer/printer in the lounge as well for specific business needs.
This hotel has a lot of amenities as well, such as a fitness center, pool/jacuzzi, and restaurant/bar. For a business traveler looking for a good night stay prior to an early morning flight, this is a great hotel to consider for a future stay. I am glad that I was able to look into this hotel and book with them, instead of the other nearby Marriott brand names that I have stayed before.
Finally, I would like to recognize Bruce at the front desk and our driver this morning. Both of them were really friendly, and considerate of our needs during our travel time. Sheraton Richmond Airport hotel is one that I will definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay near RIC airport anytime.

I have never experienced anything like I have this weekend with the Marriott franchise. First, another family was able to enter our room. Then the bedding was nasty. Ashes were all over the floor. When my husband called down to the front desk, he was told he could come get the bedding and change it himself. The front desk clerk acknowledged that if the room was not clean, it did not meet the Covid-19 policy and asked us to move us and our children to the lobby for them to clean it. They had one housekeeper and she was only on the 5th floor and we were on the 3rd. It would be hours until she got to us. My husband (as well as others) stood in line at the front desk for over an hour. Due to the time, we threw a blanket brought from home over the bed to try to get a few hours of sleep.
We usually stay in the Residence Inn (Short Pump) when we come to Richmond for sports tournaments, however, they were sold out and we thought we would try the Sheraton since it is in the Marriott family. Never again will I stay in another Sheraton hotel in the state of Virginia. The lack of concern for our safety and health is unbelievable.

Check in on Friday at about 1, was told that o had to request housekeeping because of Covid. Not a problem. Get the the room and everything seems to be ok until we noticed blood stains on our sheets and some weird stains on the sofa. There was not sheets or blankets in the room for the pullout couch, had to go to the front desk to get them. The next day I called for room service and was told that I had to request clean up service two days in advance 🤔 and that they didn’t have but one housekeeping person. No breakfast, no pool, no food after 10 🤦🏽♀️ this hotel wasn’t like this last summer idk what happened but I’m highly disappointed.

We stayed here one night because we had a very early flight out of Richmond Airport. Not impressed one bit. We got to our room, which was clean however the room was very warm. My husband turned down the air which never kicked on. I called the front desk lady, who informed me that she was new and I was the 8th/9th person to call with complaints due to lack of AC. She said she didn't have another room to move us to and maintenance could fix it tomorrow. That is unacceptable and a manager that can make decisions should have been told that 8 people have complained about the lack of AC and brought in someone to look at it, etc. When we left at 4:40 am, the temp in the room was even higher than the previous. I told Haddy, at the front desk, who didn't know and also showed no concern. Poor service on Sheraton's part. We have to choices to stay in Richmond and this will not be a choice again.

Front desk was very nice and friendly but when we got to our rooms (2 suites), both rooms were dirty. Our room had hairs in the bathroom and bed, the coffee table was sticky and couch was wet. My parents room was the same. So we got moved to two different rooms, same scenario but now add dirty sock on the floor and chips on pull out sofa bed. Very disgusting.

I wasn't happy about being charged $26 to park at a hotel I'm already over paying for. The bathroom door look like it was involved in a demolition project and the spa was not working, which is a big deal for someone traveling in pain. I saw a couple tiny black bugs crawling in my room. The little coffee maker wasn't working either and wasn't replaced even after I reported to front desk AND housekeeping requesting replacement. I was forced to go downstairs both days for hot water.

Beautiful, comfortable room. Very quiet and conveniently located next to airport. Nice restaurant selections on site. However, no clock radio/alarm clock in the room. And, I never got my 0300 wake up call that I was assured would absolutely happen.
I would stay there again but bring my own external alarm next time. (My Apple alarms I planned to rely on were acting up and wanted extra reassurance of clock radio)
