Brugh's Inn is in a great location since it is less than 5 minutes to the Civic Center, ballfields and downtown Salem and Roanoke College. Owners Dan and Martha are great hosts if you need them but they don't hang around and hover. The place has a warm, homey atmosphere. It's always my first choice when I stay in the...

We stayed just one night, the start of trip. The whole house is very welcoming and calming. It was very relaxing to have the house to ourselves (we had 2 rooms), the breakfast that was provided (Hiker) was wonderful! I would have loved to stay longer. Martha the owner if great to work with.

We stayed one night at the beginning of our road trip and the last night. We had a very comfortable, spacious room at a good price and had a pleasant experience on both nights. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the breakfasts provided.

Two of my high school friends joined me at this charming bed and breakfast. We used all three bedrooms with private bathrooms. We had a living room, den, dining room, kitchen and a wonderful screened in porch. We stayed 2 nights. We did not ask for breakfast Saturday morning but enjoyed fresh fruit , yogurt and orange juice. We did...

Cute little inn that is just a short drive from anywhere you'd need to go in Salem. Full breakfast is absolutely delicious. Very clean place. I have stay here a few times and it is always a nice experience.

I stayed here for two weeks during a class for work. Everything was very cozy and nice. I didn't get the breakfast treatment as I left too early, but I was able to cook my own breakfast which was nice. I would stay here again.

We were fortunate to come upon the Brugh Inn when searching for a place to stay while in Salem for a college soccer tournament. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay. Martha, the owner/inn keeper helped to make us feel at home, complete with coffee ready each am and a lovely breakfast in the pretty dining room. The Inn is...

My mother and I stayed in the Brugh Inn for a girls night away to have some quality, uninterrupted time together. Upon pulling up and walking into the Inn, I literally could feel the stress of my day melt away. The warm, inviting, peaceful ambiance was refreshing and inviting. I would easily recommend this stay to others!!

My wife and I just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary . We stayed in town at the Brugh's Inn of Salem and had a fantastic time! We stayed in the Appalachian room and loved it. It has a luxurious feel at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed the fireplace, spacious bath, and charm of the room. Downstairs was great too....
