I enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay at the King George where every little detail had been thought of. I stayed in the spectacular Queen Victoria Room with gorgeous antique furniture and plenty of room. I'm tall and especially enjoyed the deep bath tub. Lynn and Jim are wonderful hosts and I felt very cared for from afternoon tea to...

Thank you for your gracious review. Virginia's Blue Ridge is a lovely area to visit. From Natural Bridge to the Black Dawg Salvage, there is so much to see and so little time. Rest at the KGI. Cheers! Lynn and Jim

This was our first time staying at a B&B. It was fantastic! The innkeepers were so hospitable and the other people staying in the inn were amazingly friendly. We had such great conversation around the dining table each morning. We stayed for two nights and the breakfast each morning was, well, amazing. On our next trip to Roanoke, we will...

I enjoyed my visit to The King George Inn. I arrived late on a Saturday with no reservation and was greeted happily by Jim. He showed me directly to my room which is very comfortable and roomy. The bathroom is also large and looks newly refurbished. The neighborhood is filled with gorgeous historic houses and is very quiet and safe....

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights. It is an old building recently renovated and changed into a B & B with only a few bedrooms. The owners live on site and are so willing and happy to help. Each bedroom is immaculately presented and a pleasure to stay in. No TV makes a...

A lovely home and friendly innkeepers - but we left feeling like the place and the hosts were just plain tuckered out. Not particularly clean or updated, you are clearly paying for the location - which is convenient. The innkeepers live on residence and it felt as if we were intruding when we ventured to get a bottled water or...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Our Inn is 113 years old and has been professionally restored , keeping as much of the original fixtures as possible. Furnishings were also selected for this period in time. We have added to our newly furnished Elizabeth Room, a love seat that also doubles as a comfortable bed to...

My daughter and I just went to Roanoke for a mother/daughter weekend and we stayed at the King George. I spent a lot of time online investigating places to go, and we decided on Roanoke partly because of the King George and the reviews that we had read. It didn't disappoint! The inn is meticulously clean and elegantly and comfortably...

The King George Inn is a jewel of a place . We stayed one night while in route to Asheville. A brick Georgian mansion with huge rooms and baths. I loved this B&B and the hosts (Lynn and Jim) were very gracious and attended to our every need. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone sightseeing in the Roanoke area...

The King George Inn is located on a quaint, quiet street in the historical area of Roanoke. Upon entering the huge Mansion we were immediately greeted by the ever so lovely Lynn.
