Fairy-tale come true!! Best place on earth I have went this year so far! My boyfriend and I stayed in the Glamping Tent #1 ( they have a #2 coming May 1 2017). I suggest if you want pure privacy to choose Tent #1 as the new Tent #2 is within site of the restaurant, lodge and store so that...

We were on our way back from a trip to Kentucky and decided to spend a night at the Depot Lodge. We have stayed there before and always enjoyed the experience, The Swinging Bridge restaurant across has always been a favorite . This time however the Swinging Bridge was not opened, do to the time of the year. It reopens...

Pros: Spotless rooms, scenic setting, restaurant Cons: Airstream trailer several miles from property on an isolated dirt track. Our sports car club booked several rooms at the Depot Lodge. By the time we made our reservations, the only option left was the Airstream trailer. It sounded idyllic; so we took it. Not a good decision for a sports car close...

All I can say is the Lodge person that answer the phone understood my problem. My wife and I were going on a bike trip for her birthday. She was due home at noon, at 11:30 my brother calls they think mom had a stroke and EMS was called to take her to hospital. I called my wife first told...

I grew up about 45 minutes away from Paint Bank, and got married on my cousin's farm about 15 miles away. Until needing a place for wedding guests to stay, I wasn't aware of the awesomeness of The Depot Lodge. My husband and I spent two nights (our "mini-moon") in their glamping tent following the wedding. Other friends stayed in...

Some of our friends got married nearby this past weekend and suggested we stay at The Depot Lodge in Paint Bank. I was admittedly skeptical at first, but it was truly amazing. After checking in at The General Store, we were escorted up to our cabin, Fox Hill Camp. The cabin was gorgeous. Secluded with a view, front and back...

We have stayed at The Depot Lodge twice now. The first time, we stayed in the caboose, the second in the master bedroom suite. We loved it both times and are already planning to return in November of this year! The Caboose sits by the creek and we enjoyed sitting on the bench outside star gazing at night. Everything you...

We stayed with Depot Lodge at Crumps Camp. The restored Airstream was everything we expected and more . It's a very peaceful and serene setting . While packing up the morning of departure, I stepped in the road and a black bear was 50 yards down from me . The highlight of our trip . I would definitely recommend this...

My husband and I stayed one night at The Depot Lodge in Paint Bank VA on July 29th. We loved it! The lodge and decor is so homey with so much history on display. I love the way the Lodge is decorated and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The Lodge sits right on Potts Creek which is serene. They offer...
