We liked everything. Such a charming place to stop over. The room was great, lovely bedding and towels. The gardens were a delight and lovely to sit out in either in the afternoon or evening. The owner Barbara was charming and a great host,so much was provided, most of it above and beyond what you would normally expect. Breakfast was...

My daughter and I recently had the pleasure of spending an evening at the Martinborough Connection. We arrived mid afternoon on a Friday and were greeted by Barbara, the Innkeeper. She showed us to a lovely room with lots of space overlooking her beautiful garden. We walked into town and visited several wineries before purchasing a bottle of wine to...

This was a charming little Bed and Breakfast Inn in Martinborough. We had driven down all the way from Napier that day and were immediately offered wine and cheese upon arrival. Our room was lovely, cozy and warm (the weather was still a bit cold in November). The innkeeper had warmed the room awaiting our arrival. We were able to...

We stayed in October 2015. The owner was very pleasant and welcoming. The communal area had an open fireplace and the breakfast was delicious. The B&B is also within an easy walk to the town centre. The individual rooms were small but nicely furnished. The problem was that the walls were paper thin and every conversation from adjoining rooms can...

Visited this place in Oct 15, the drive from Wellington through to Rimutaka hills is just amazing. It is a good getaway point from busy work life. Tea, Beer, Wine and Cheese were on offer from the host for evening drinks. They also had 2 bicycles which make the experience even better and we went around the town on those....

On the plus side, this is in a great spot for a walk into town, the room was warm, bed comfy and the host was generous with wine and cheese and snacks in the communal lounge. Free wifi was also a bonus. On the minuses, the walls are so thin you can hear conversations (and more!!) from the room next...

Short notice stay we pulled up and asked if there was any accommodation available? It was a Monday evening around 5.30 after a busy weekend for the proprietor (Barbara) but she made us instantly welcome. In the guest lounge she lit the open fire for us (heatpump as well) tea/coffee TV all readily available and once the rooms were ready...

We booked our stay at this Bed & Breakfast last minute after the weather turned and we couldn't do the Tongariro Crossing. We decided to head for some relatively good weather and wine! The owner was very welcoming and friendly, giving us some great tips on what vineyards to visit. The location was in walking distance to the centre of...

This well located B&B offers a very comfortable, clean, relaxed, friendly retreat. The handy location to the township is within walking distance. An ideal location to visit the vineyards that are close by via car, push bike or tour. A trip to Lake Ferry original hotel and wild coast and a delightful walk to the Pinnacles are all a must...
