Perth is not cheap so finding a hotel near the beach with food outlets nearby and free parking was great. The rooms are basic and dated but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The views are not straight onto the beach as the building is at 90 degrees to the beach. Pub next door does good restaurant and bar meals.

We stayed one night. Location is the best thing about this hotel. It was a very clean and spacious area with easy movement around bed, small table and chairs as well as 2 comfortable club chairs. (No lounge) bathroom needs an exhaust. Looking out the side window you could see the famous Cottesloe Beach.

After living in Perth for 6 years but not having been back for a while, met up with some business friends here for a few cold ones late afternoon. Still a magnificent few coupled with that feel of a raw Aussie pub located on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. Enjoyed the draft ginger beer too!

Stayed for 3 nights during some severe weather in WA. We had a room at the back due to the wild weather battering the front rooms. Room was very large, comfortable bed. Very good value for the money we paid. Hotel rooms are in a separate building to the hotel so noise not a problem. Great having the pub next...

As one once said, and can be said about OBH, "This is the place, because there is no other place like this place anywhere near this place!". Bottle shop, multiple cool bars, great restaurant, nice hotel with truly wonderful staff like Shelley and Suzy and even a super beach, scenic view and major sunset across the easy access road (did...

The Ocean Beach Hotel, known by generations of Perth's young people as "the OBH" is on rhe sea at Cottesloe. Cottesloe, or "Cott" as it is called, is one of Perth's most popular beaches. I have stayed there. The sound of the surf at night is very soothing. The OBH is a good place to stay, but don't expect the...

Stayed here recently and found it to be terrific value. Location can't be faulted. Absolutely superb spot. The rooms aren't flash but it's what is to needle creed for the price. Staff friendly and always available. Negatives would be no Foxtel, Expensive wifi and that at all times through the night you can clearly hear the pipes when waters being...
