We chose to stay here during our stay in the Yarra Valley after spotting a post in instagram. It did not disappoint! Beautiful scenery, the cottages themselves are spotless and have everything you need. Comfortable beds, lovely big shower and spa bath. We lit the fire on the evening which made a relaxing cosy vibe and enjoyed the bottle of wine and breakfast that was included. The scenery is stunning, with kangaroos hopping about outside and we got the chance to spot our first wombat in the wild. Would recommend this place to anyone truly stunning.

What a fantastic place to stay. We enjoyed our weekend away out of the city and boy did Yering Gorge Cottages nail it. We definately left fully recharged and totally relaxed. Brilliantly quiet and surrounded by wildlife. We would also like to thank Sue for arranging our pick up from our cottage and making everything so easy with check in and the delivery of our milk. Also, Karen was fantastic, collecting us from our cottage & dropping us off later in the evening. (I am currently wearing a Moon Boot so I can't walk far hence we asked if it was possible to be collected for our evening meal at the Club House & return). Nothing was to much trouble at all. Thanks Sue & Karen, for providing excellent Customer Service. You are both wonderful employees for going above & beyond and we appreciated it. We will definitely be back.

I stayed here overnight with my bestie and we had a fabulous time. The cottage met all our needs. The setting was lovely and we had visits from local cockatoos, magpies and kangaroos. We enjoyed the pot belly stove with the fire all prepared ready for us, the big barbecue on our private deck, the bathroom with spa, separate shower and L'Occitane products, and especially the beautiful view which incorporated the leafy hills on one side and the golf course on the other looking out towards Yarra Glen (not to mention the gorgeous gum tree right beside our deck). We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of shiraz upon entry. The provisions were more than adequate, especially as we had booked a breakfast hamper with eggs and bacon mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes, spinach ... it was a great morning! We visited the Members Lounge at reception before leaving and we could quite comfortably have spent much longer there if we hadn't already made a booking for lunch elsewhere. All in all, I was very impressed and would like to return in the future.

Our son gave us a Xmas gift to stay at Yering gorge cottages and also hot air ballooning. It was the best present ever!! We had previously stayed at the cottages with friends- and couldn’t wait to go back. The cottages are located at the back of the fabulous eastern golf club - surrounded by wildlife galore! Sooo many kangaroos!!. The whole experience is amazing! We’re both keen golfers, love a game of tennis - and love a walk in beautiful surroundings - you simply can’t beat this place. And only an hour and a quarter from melbourne- so quick and painless to get to! Staff are also very friendly and helpful.
