Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable owners. This B&B had lots of little extras eg, umbrellas provided, chocolates on the pillows, historic info at hand as well as hand fed native kookaburras and king parrots. Breakfast was beautifully presented, delicious and generously sized.

Janette and Richard ensured that we were warm and comfortable in our cosy room for two. They were extremely knowledgeable about Walhalla and surrounds. We enjoyed their interaction with us as they served us our delightful breakfast in their loungeroom overlooking the main street of Walhalla down below. Every detail of our experience at Wild Cherry was lovingly thought out and delivered. A very memorable time had.Thank you Janette and Richard. We hope to return again soon.

Many thanks to Janette and Richard for providing a perfect place to relax and unwind. Walhalla is a beautiful part of Victoria and the Wild Cherry offers a comfortable and friendly place to unwind. We had a great time learning the history of Walhalla and getting to know the area, the wildlife, and the people. Thanks also for organising our bookings at the Wally Pub!

Pleasant accommodation, but definitely on the small side. We were fortunate no one had booked the adjoining bedroom as I suspect the rooms are not sound proofed. The bathroom is well appointed but tiny. We ran out of hot water on the second morning and was told it was our fault as we must have used too much water - wrong answer! Not impressed as we didn’t have long showers and it seemed the hot water service was not suited to the job. The bedroom was clean and heater worked well but there is no room to store your luggage without tripping over it. The bed is not overly comfortable and I’d suggest you bring your own pillows. Definitely bring your own hairdryer, the one in the cupboard needs replacing and smells like it’s about to catch fire.
The hosts are very nice and happy to chat. Breakfast was okay but if you have food allergies ensure you phone to confirm they have checked your requests. Our booking stated gluten free options were needed for breakfast and when this was raised, again we were told this would have been catered for if we had requested it - wrong answer again! We did write it in our booking and then could not have a full breakfast. No apology or discount was offered. Disappointing.
The view from this property is lovely as it is set high on the hill. The road in is single lane, so beware.

Thank you to Janette and Richard for making us very welcome. The view was spectacular and it was fun to feed the birds in the morning. Breakfast was very nice, especially the large fluffy pancakes. Our rooms were cozy and warm.

Stayed 2 nights, hosts were terrific, nice breakfast, beautiful location, extremely quiet. Room is very small, but we spent most of our time playing tourist so it didn’t matter. Bed is great, nice shower. Recommended for singles or couples.

The hosts, Janette and Richard know what they are doing. They were very resourceful and friendly, and told us a lot about history of Walhalla. We enjoyed chatting with Richard during breakfast as well as looking at his collections. The ceramic decorations made by Janette looked amazing. This is a 5 star B&B, cosy and warm, with the best view we could get in Walhalla. Totally recommend it and certainly will be our place to stay if we come back.

Our visit to charming Walhalla was made even more fabulous by our stay at Wild Cherry B & B. Scott & Jason were very welcoming and hospitable without being intrusive and the 3 course dinner on Saturday night was well worthy of a mention in the Good Food Guide, rivalling many 1 & 2 hatted restaurants we have visited in Melbourne. It was a gourmet meal with all the trimmings of fine dining, served in a warm and intimate dining room. If you are a foodie and love fine dining, this experience is a must! Rooms were lovely with lots of little touches and perfect for two couples travelling together.

+1
I had the most amazing two nights in Walhalla and the stay at the Wild Cherry was just perfect. A brand new dinning and sitting area was the highlight where you can listen to the rain fall down whilst sipping some local wine. Both the owners Scott and Jason were so friendly and dinner there is a must as you will be spoiled rotten with not only great food but top shelf service. Breakfast is also totally catered for with menus and great service again. If your looking for a getaway in a town that time forgot, stay here and be spoiled.
