Ringwood Motel was the WORST motel I’ve ever stayed out. I’m fine with old and old style but this was horrendously overpriced, filthy, unsecured, no facilities and older than a pub room. Would never recommend anyone even get out of their car there.
Another review said it felt like a druggy motel, I’ll second that, very unsafe, windows didn’t even close let alone lock. Didnt want to even lay in the bed, let alone shower there.
Stranger to town from interstate and didn’t know where was best to stay, quality hotel manor came to the rescue at 1/2 the price and a million times better and took our call at 9.15pm. Thankyou

The room was dark and only one bedside lamp worked. There were no glasses in the room. There was no bath mat in the bathroom.
When it started raining water was dripping from the bathroom light fitting. The refrigerator was so iced up that there was hardly any room in the freezer. The moyel is very tired and appears not to have had regular maintenance.

I should have read the other reviews before I made my booking. This place is absolutely disgusting. Hair in the bathrooms, fridge that didn't work, stench of smoke in the room, carpet that's worn out, folded (supposedly clean) towels that smelled musty, plus some really dodgy looking other people moving around outside between rooms at 1:30am. Yuk yuk yuk do not stay here.

I would never ever stay here again. We had to get a room as it was my sisters kitchen Tea and wow is all that comes to mind. It was dirty, smelt funny and was honestly one of the most revolting places I've ever stayed. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY HERE. If I could give zero stars I would have. 😱😱 it was just disgraceful

I booked my daughter into this motel for 3 nights. As she felt ill she called her brother to visit her. The Owner became very abusive and demanded my son pay $10/hr to visit her. When I offered to pay extra (above the advertised rate) he also demanded an extra $200 because I had a nice car and could afford it. Had to move my daughter to another motel after working out that this man is actually running a pay per hour brothel and not a motel at all. STAY AWAY!!!!

Smoke smells through the adjoining rooms. We had 2 rooms both stunk of smoke. Bed was lumpy and everytime you moved it creeked.
Hair dryer in 1 room mad serious bad noises. Pillows were very thin basically paper thin.

Towels stained and old, grounds unkempt, old plastic chairs in 'bbq' area, rooms not very clean, coffee holder stains & dusty, ?duvet cleaned between guests?? Budget doesn't need to be this bad. Sorry I came.

Stayed from 2 p.m until 10 a.m the next day.Fairly clean room except i found a band-aid underneath the table. i'm a light sleeper so the highway was quite loud in room 2. At 4:30 a.m there was a huge argument in a unit further up.I rang management but they did not come out. Rang police instead and then it was ok. The breakfast was great bacon and eggs and served on time. The remote control for the television didn't have any batteries.

The room was extremely basic, bordering on awful. However, it was clean (including the linen and bath towels) and once you threw a few belongings around, it did improve. The beds really should be replaced (they sag badly in the middle). Location is okay (about 2kms outside of Ringwood) and there are a supermarket, some specialty shops, Mongolian restaurant and a Red Rooster right next door, and Club Ringwood within walking distance. The photos on their website don't show how basic the place really was. Max (the owner(?)/manager) was friendly and delivered what was asked for (extra pillows, crockery etc). The price ($99 per night for 2 persons, and $105 for 3) really was a bit much for what we got, but I didn't have the time to be too choosy. We bought our own toilet paper as the stuff that was provided was truly dreadful.

I needed a place to stay for business in Ringwood for two nights. I looked on line and the rooms where $100 a night. I rang and the owner, Max, told me he would do a special deal for me. Too right they did, the receptionist who I can safely assume is his wife, charged me $110 a night, plus you have to pay $20 for the key deposit. When I told her it was only 100 a night on Expedia so they were only getting about $90 a night, I got told that my room was the best room and the big boss sets the price. What BS. And if my room was the best I'd hate to see the rest. It is also used a a homeless & domestic violence placement motel, which brings wth it all sorts of disturbances at night. As others have commented it just didn't feel safe at all, I went out to my car to retrieve a phone charger cord at about 1130pm and there was a couple dodgy looking blokes just driving through the car park in some old beat up car. (And I'm an ex copper of 26 years experience, so I know dodgy). No lighting outside either, perhaps not turned on to save a dime or two, but the front of the motel rooms and carpark is completely dark. Do not do it. Until it changes hands it will be a dive. Total refurbishment needed and change of management, that are not rude and dismissive. $110 no, $80 perhaps. Pretty dismal.
