Stayed in this hotel for a week on business, the hotel is located opposite a station so you can quickly get to Melbourne and is next to a large shopping center with a wide choice of places to eat.
The room was spacious and well kept clean, but you also have the choice to skip cleaning occasionally, and in addition to being good for the environment, you even get a $10 discount per night, so win-win.
Reception friendly, unfortunately not always busy and if you do not have an Australian telephone number they are difficult to reach, a telephone, bell or intercom at the reception would be easy in those cases.
The hotel restaurant also serves excellent food.

Went to the dage and found the parking easy to get into and easy to find spaces to park for $10 a night so felt it was reasonable compared to inner city melbourne . The room was clean and comfortable after an easy book in process and as I booked online a bottle of wine was supplied. as per add. The room had compact ensuite with large shower bi enoght to turn around without hitting the soap dish and shampoo and conditioner and body wash attached to the shower wall within easy reach and smelling nice . The pressure and heat of the shower were good and easy to turn on without getting wet. the towels were easy to access and dried well. The suitcase rest are was good enogh for one case so i used the desj]k area for the second . Internet was provide free as a paying guest and usb ports were within easy reach of the beds . The coffee machine was supplied and easy to use and extra capsules avcail at the front desk on return from shopping in Eastland ,Eastland was easily accessible undercover from all the rain and wind. On return from shopping all purchases were put in the car before returning to the room for a cuppa and made the final day packing much easier .The check out was just as easy as the check in and staff very pleasant and happy to help with getting out of the parking area . All in all a very happy shopping trip using a very restful hotel

The hotel is nice well located near the train station and Eastland shopping centre. It comprises eight stories above Eastland and I can’t speak for other rooms, but the one I was in had an ugly view across flat roofs, with air conditioning units that were very noisy, despite double-glazed floor to ceiling windows. I asked to be moved to another room, and they put me a floor above, but the air conditioning noise was still there although to a lesser degree. Thank goodness I didn’t hear it at night. A few other things…the receptionist told me some instructions which I didn’t really listen to (my fault) and when I got to my room I was baffled why the lights wouldn’t turn on. I eventually figured you have to put one of the room cards into a slot next to the front door to enable power to the whole room. Another thing that threw me was I went to leave my room, but the corridor was pitch black! I was down one end and couldn’t see my way to the lift. After venturing out a bit further, the motion-activated lights came on. I asked the receptionist later and she said sometimes it helps to wave your arms to get them going. I think it would be a nice touch if they could hand out printed instructions with the keys, outlining all this. I was also surprised to see an ironing board and iron visible in an open storage area the room, not in a cupboard. It wasn’t a good look, I felt I was staying in someone’s spare bedroom. I feel it might be better to enclose this whole open area which would then offer more bathroom privacy and maybe help muffle embarrassing toilet noises! All there is for that is an opaque sliding glass door. The room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable.

We enjoyed our short stay at Sage - the room was well presented with modern furnishings, comfortable bed and pillows, and the room and bathroom were very clean. Car parking is available at a small charge and there were ample parking located next to the elevators going up to the hotel lobby on the 5th floor. The lounge area next to the bar is nicely set up and is cosy.

We chose this hotel to be close to family in the suburbs for Christmas.
It was modern, very clean and comfortable.
Only dislike was the glass toilet door and vanity in the main room offering no privacy. The large wall mirror directly off the vanity area also doubled the lack of privacy. This area could easily be closed in, this would be my only recommendation.
Hotel is located at Eastland shopping centre, parking on-site for $10 and can leave car parked there while you shop even after checking out.

Rather than stay in the city, we stayed closer to family in Ringwood.
Being in a central location in Ringwood, Eastland and the local restaurants were literally down the lift!
The in-house restaurant & bar also had great menus too.
Ringwood station is just across the road and the city is a stress-free rail trip away.
The rooms are stylish, clean and well presented.
Certainly we sill stay again

I have had the pleasure of visting numerous times and always enjoy the spaciousness of the rooms, the shower has great water pressure. Great value and location. 200m from train station and a few steps from the shops. Co-working space at the lobby was great! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family. You get a $10 voucher for opting out of getting your room made up. No frills business hotel if you don’t have much to do at the CBD.

Unfortunately my previously delightful experience with Sage was dampened this time around. I was super disappointed with the lack of clarity around dining options (which I relied heavily on due to limited mobility), having to opt for some snacks for dinner on one night, which I brought with me. I also had to request someone come up and remove bathroom rubbish that wasn't cleaned before my stay (Tara at front desk was lovely about it and super helpful) - but it shouldn't have happened.
The venue itself is beautiful, the open cafe area where you can bring a coffee and a book is a perfect space to rest.
The in room dining is delicious, breakfast is great value, dinner is on the pricey side.

Dear MBine, Thanks for your review and choosing to stay with us. Unfortunately we are dealing with COVID related challenges facing all hospitality businesses at the moment. This certainly makes it challenging to provide the high level of service we are known for. We hope things return to normal soon and thank you for your understanding. Regards James.
