Great lodge. Great food. Great hike. Knowledgeable guides in tune with the environment and aware of the indigenous history and significance of country. The attention to detail was excellent. Thanks Tom, Anja, Anna Angus and Ben. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to do other walks with the company.
The rooms are so well designed that sharing a bathroom is no issue as they are huge and so well appointed. Food was amazing - thank you Anna ! Ben and Finn where incredibly patient guides, always encouraging, trying with such enormous energy to give us the best experience. Nothing was too much trouble. The foot spas at the end of the day with canapes and pre-dinner drinks - so wonderful and even a fire after dinner to sit around and just relax. Such caring wonderful people made it all worthwhile.
Fantastic to have such a great company supporting us for the Hands Across The Water charity walk. Ben, Anna and Fin were amazing hosts and guides. The facilities and villas are 2nd to none and the knowledge shared while trekking the amazing coast was perfect. Thank you and we'll be back again Dave
I’ve just completed a three day hike with Twelve Apostles Lodge and can’t rate this experience highly enough. Very comfortable accomodations, lovely meals (including the daily packed lunches) and a happy, professional team of staff made this a pretty wonderful adventure. Thanks to Finn and Annie for their safe and expert guiding and Pippa for her wonderful cooking and lodge management throughout the weekend. Anja and Ben should be very proud of the camaraderie that these three created on my visit.
We walked this beautiful stretch with our able and humorous guides Joe and Annie. Between the jokes was much interest and passion for the fauna and wildlife. We were even enlisted (willingly) to collect plastic flotsam from the various beaches we walked as part of a org that tracks the origins of the plastics and then communicates with the maker. Back at the Lodge we were greeted with hot foot baths, could drinks( great to see local winery and brewery being supported), plentiful food and comfy beds. A peaceful location to sit out and enjoy the sounds of birds, mating Koala and the stars beside a log fire. Thanks to Ben, Anya and Lucy our lodge hosts. This was not our first trip with the AWC, we have enjoyed all of the ones we've done. There is always a good and eclectic group of interesting people to meet too.…
The best type of hiking when everything is provided and you come ‘home’ to a foot bath and a glass of champagne! But wait, there is more … canapés- a cheese platter; pizza; koftas, falafels and samosas - different every night and after a quick shower you sit down to main course and dessert. Finishing with sitting around the fire pit until the light disappears, but I do hope you have more company than I did 😄 The team were amazing. From Jack and Juanita our guides who ensured we were prepared for all eventualities and made sure we were enjoying ourselves along the way; to Anja and Ben who ensured we were well fed and watered and a big thank you to Martin who made sure those footbaths were ready when we arrived back in the evening. A great team who ensured we were all well looked after. If I have one misgiving it is the shared room but if you are travelling solo and not paying a supplement it’s not a deal breaker, Don’t wait. Just do it!…
I had a wonderful time on the Twelve Apostles Lodge Walk. The accommodation was stunning. The people were welcoming. The walking guides were great and I couldn’t have asked for better people in the walking group- I can highly recommend it.
Everything about this experience is exceptional. Anja and Ben make comfort a priority and the food is amazing. Our guides Juanita and Jack were fantastic-nothing was too much trouble. They were ready with lots of interesting info regarding the area. It was wonderful to get to know the group members over the 4 days. There were many laughs, some beautiful shared views and friendships formed; many over the foot spas and glasses of bubbly at the end of each day.
We were very impressed with the welcome at the Lodge, the lodge managers, the tour guides were very communicative and friendly. Accommodation is well designed and luxurious and the setting is fabulous. Of course the walks were beautiful and our guides prepared us well and looked after us along the way. The meals are superb including cooked breakfast, packed lunch and canapés before each sumptuous dinner and one of our group who had dietary requirements was carefully and deliciously catered for. Helicopter ride around 12 apostles is a bonus at the end of a great holiday
The lodge and the team running it are great. Ben & Anja spoil their guests with great food and beautiful surroundings as well as invaluable local knowledge. Joe, our guide, was inspiring. The 4 days of walking were spectacular. All the hiking gear supplied was good quality and Ben literally thought of everything and was the most efficient organiser I have ever met!
