It is budget priced accommodation, that met my expectations for price. While it looks like its past its prime as event location with accommodation, it was clean and there was hot water and had clean towels and toiletries. I stayed on a sunday and monday night and there were very few guests. Tthe split system struggled to keep the room warm, which was quite large with a table, couch and a big bathroom with a corner spa. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 90's. It suited my criteria for cheap accommodation as I was out most of the time, but it just has the aura of place struggling to to stay open.

Free parking and wifi was good. Large room. Staff were friendly. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Lift was not working. Room was large, but old and tired, but reasonably clean. Definitely not environmentally sustainable. Once only use small shampoo etc. No recycle bin.

Good for an overnight stay if you are visiting north east of Melbourne. Large room with 1 x king bed, small lounge, dining table for two, ETA and coffee making facilities , small fridge. Free parking on site. Asian style restaurant open evenings. I couldn’t find breakfast options. Shower over spa bath. Twin sinks in bathroom. Green choice toiletries.

Whole place was filthy and dilapidated. Hair in bed, dirty toilet, mouldy bathroom floor, bath, sinks, & wall tiles. Food & beverage splashes all over walls and furniture, greasy marks on bedsides, coffee table and kitchenette including kettle cups etc. I paid extra for early check in & requested refund excl this as I could not stay here for concern about my health. Hotel refused to refund, obviously because they had a total of 3 guests. Booked through Agoda who did nothing but say “sorry but up to their “partners” . Agoda state no refund policy applies even to request for refund based on health and safety concerns with this property which they promote! Honestly just can’t believe that agoda could even allow this place to be on their recommended properties! Just a distasteful awful experience!

The parking was free and easily accessible, and check in was easy BUT…
There was hair on surfaces and on the pillow which was not mine. The room smelled like bad B.O., and there were leaves on the floor which indicated that it had not been vacuumed properly or at all. The man that was on reception when I checked out was quite rude, and coughed without covering his mouth multiple times. It was advertised as having an extra large double bed, but it was two single beds & mattresses joined together so I felt like I would fall through the middle. Also the only way I knew in advance that I’d need to pay an additional $100 as a security deposit upon arrival was by reading a bad review previously left by someone.
You definitely get what you pay for with this place.I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Even for a quick stay.

Firstly, it was an absolute joy to work with the Functions Manger in the planning stages! She was so professional yet friendly, very knowledgeable, and responded to any queries within the day. Nothing was too hard, and she always had a smile on her face. It made planning the party so easy!
Secondly, the venue and the small touches at no extra cost were lovely - the seating chart, the little food and beverage menus, cake knife and serving spoon etc. We were able to decorate the function space earlier that day too, which made the day easier!
Thirdly, our bar tender/waiter was INCREDIBLE. Such a lovely young man, who worked so hard all night. From delivering food and serving drinks, he did it all with a smile on his face, and he couldn’t be more accommodating.
All our guests loved the food!! It was all delicious, and big serves! Even the the birthday cake we took was well cut and served on individual platters for each table to eat, at a small cost - lifesaver!
The guests that stayed were also very happy with their rooms! They were spacious, and close to all the hotel had to offer.
For a more ‘classic / old school’ function centre and boutique hotel, it was certainly great value for money. And a reasonable cost at that!
My stepdaughter had an amazing night. She wont forget her 21st Birthday!

Basically the place is shocking to start with once you pass the front reception the smell and the look of the carpets were awful and lets no mention the room itself,,,is big but is very dirty,,carpets,curtains and wall were so smelly and dirty ,no wifi ,pay tv or good size tv. Toilet was leaking and the door had a broken door knob so once is close you could not open from inside anymore ,,coffee mugs dirty as well as the spoon . donna under top sheet was stained and also had blood. With this COVID 19 I was so worried, that I sprayed the whole room with 2 cans of glen 20 also no temperature checks are done at all no hand sanitizer in rooms, my recommendation is stay away is very expensive and dirty. next time we go to melbourne we will stay in the city where prices are a lot cheaper with a lot more amenities,

Wow! I travel for work and stay in many hotels but I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere so dirty. The hotel is old and tired which I can deal with but the complete lack of basic cleanliness is gross. EVERTHING is dirty. Tables in room covered in food. Floor has not been vacuumed in a long time. There is just a mattress with a sheet, no underlay. Sheets too small to cover the king size mattress. All surfaces covered in dust, doors and handles filthy. Had to ask for an additional pillow as only 1 provided. Needed a blanket as only 2 sheets and a thin doona provided in winter. Air conditioner looks like it has never been cleaned and turns off intermittently. I checked in late and the next morning asked them to clean the room only to be told due to covid they don’t clean the room while we are here. I said, please clean it, it’s really dirty. So, they changed my towels and emptied the bin and left someone else’s dirty hand towel on my bed side table. It’s almost laughable if it wasn’t so unhygienic . There is no Wi-Fi, no breakfast and no room service, despite them advertising all of that. It’s a shame as you can tell that whoever manages this building clearly does not care.

We asked to change rooms within an hour of being there. Cupboard falling off, constant dripping noise, cracked walls, dirty, smelly. Couldn’t even access room, swipe card wouldn’t work, the manager couldn’t even get it to work with our card after multiple resets, had to use his master. New room was better but not great, smelt better, but bed was super noisy. Vanity same as previous splash everywhere when turning tap on. Mirror architrave severely swollen from water damage. Towels were dirty. Had to argue with manager to receive our bottle of wine that had been paid for. Plenty of parking. Couldn’t open windows as siliconed shut. Blinds damaged. Table was wobbly. Very disappointed, will never stay here again, never ever.

Don't be fooled by the photos, or waste your time and money, the room was the most dirty, dusty, old, revolting place, the bed head had an inch of fluff, sheets didn't look particularly clean, spider webs on windows as well as dead spiders and insects behind torn blinds, the bathroom wasn't any better, spa bath had rust, enamel missing, and who knows what in the bottom of it. Cracks in walls, dirty mirrors. The smell of dust was overwhelming and sickening, was to scared to touch anything. Stayed 5 minutes, unconcerned manager came to have a look and offered refund, we took it and left.
