We have just spent the most amazing stay at Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage. We arrived at night from an easy drive from Adelaide airport. We immediately loved the charming decor which reminded me of a European farm house. They have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay feel like home… but in a 5 star environment. The linen, the bath towels, the bathroom amenities, the Bose system, the furniture fabrics, the coffee machine, the jazz CDs, the kitchen crockery (Inside and outside!) and access to the house cellar! … everything has been meticulously selected to create a wonderful home away from home, full of character. The places that came recommended (nearby restaurants, bars, markets and vineyards) were all fabulous and made our stay in the Barossa terrific. The cottage was so good we decided to stay for an extra day as we wanted to enjoy it after a busy couple of days visiting nearby places.
Thanks Jodie for having us at the cottage, we loved it and will recommend it to anyone wanting a special experience. We could not go overseas as planned for our ten year anniversary but The Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and the Seppeltsfield area offer an amazing alternative. An anniversary to remember, thank you.

Thank you V for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. It is nice for us to step back and see the Cottage through our guests eyes from time to time, this helps to remind us of all the things that our guests love and to encourage us to keep doing what we do! It really gives me a lift to know we have made such an impact and created such wonderful memories on your special occasions. I am so pleased to hear you loved your time at the Cottage and your Tenth Wedding Anniversary was beautifully celebrated. We just returned from 2 nights here. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Jodie was fabulous at organising everything for us prior to our arrival, the cottage is beautiful, and literally everything is thought of. We loved seeing wineries in the day, and then returned late afternoon (via a trip to the amazing local butcher) to relax and cook on the grill outside, and watch the sun go down over the vines. Simple amazing. Thank you Jodie for all your help!

Dear Charlie, We are always so pleased to hear we have provided you with everything you need for a perfect stay with us, from the initial booking to the end of your stay. I have a passion for providing the best experience possible and we love to hear when we have exceeded your expectations with this and the cottage itself. You certainly had some fablulous weather for exploring the Barossa and enjoying the evenings with a good red and a steak on the back verandah! It was my pleasure to host yourself and Billy and I wish you all the best with the new collection of Barossa wines to add to your wine business. Warm regards, Jodie and the SVC team

We booked for a 2-night stay with the Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and so glad we did. What an amazing place to stay. Right in the middle of the vineyards with sheep grazing around us and birds singing in the trees.
The cottage dates back to the 1800s and is still in its original condition. It is spacious and for a couple only with a single bedroom (large) with bathroom and a large lounge area. Because we were there in winter, the fire was set up for us and it added a charm to the cottage.
We arrived and had instructions on how to get into the cottage (self-check in) and were welcomed with a comfortable, clean cottage. Inside everything was perfect, including a bottle of local wine (from Hentley Farms next door - see my other review—you must go to Hentley Farm), a cheese platter, more breakfast options than we could consume (we opted for bacon, eggs, mushrooms and the fresh bread from Fino), along with some pastries.
On our first morning, even though it was bitterly cold outside, we cooked breakfast on the BBQ, and sat out with nature and had breakfast before venturing off for our day wine tasting (starting at Hentley Farm). The bed was super comfortable and a large bathtub looks out over the gardens --- just everything was perfect.
The other amazing thing (and sorry no photo) is that downstairs from the cottage is a wine cellar. The cellar dates back to the 1800s and is full of wines, many of which you can purchase if you need a bottle. There was also a port barrel for you to taste some local port (but go and try the port at Fino - you can get a 100-year-old taste or a taste from your birth year - worth the experience).
Highly recommended.

The attention to detail in this wonderful cottage ensured a delightful 3 night stay for us, which we will certainly repeat. Breakfast generosity, tasty nibbles to complement a choice of wine, current reading material, fresh flowers, Baroque in the bathroom, BBQ and relaxing outdoor area with a wonderful view of gardens and vineyards. Walking distance to Fino and Huntley Farm for excellent lunches topped off our stay. Thankyou Jodie for all you did to make our stay perfect.

My husband booked 3 nights at Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage for my 50th Birthday Surprise and what an absolute gem of a getaway it was !
It was very easy drive from Adelaide into the Barossa Valley and we were met by Jodi who truly is the perfect host ! The cottage itself is private and located amongst the vines and stunning gardens, the photos here are a very true representation of exactly what the cottage looks like. You get to experience this lovingly restored 1800s cottage with all its original features including your own wine cellar but also get the 5 star luxury experience with all the gorgeous touches that Jodi has made, from the bed linen, sound system, amenities, stocked refrigerator with delicious local produce and tastings in the wine cellar.
My husband organised with Jodi wine tours, tastings, lunches etc and everything was perfect. Inside the cottage there is information on everything that they recommend in the area and not one thing disappointed . We also explored the area ourselves by car and did plenty of walking from the cottage. We could easily have spent a week there.
Highly recommend and can't wait to go back !

We stayed 4 nights in The Retreat. There were only 2 of us in the 3 bedroom retreat, however you can shut the doors to the rest of the retreat to create a cozy space for 2, albeit a large space.
The provisions provided by Jodie are exceptional. There is so much reading material on offer of places to see in the Barossa.
Seppeltsfield was the perfect place to stay for us. Quiet, but so close to everything.
We would highly recommend this property (or the Cottage) which are the only 2 places to stay on this gorgeous vineyard.
If you are looking for something a little special, just book it, you will not regret it.

We were married in the Barossa Valley on the 18th of December and hosted our bridal party in The Retreat while we stayed in the Cottage.
I cannot recommend this accomodation highly enough. Jodie went above and beyond to cater to our every need as well as providing so much guidance and reassurance over the wedding weekend. Jodie used to be a wedding planner and as a result, has an eye for detail and thinks of everything!
The gardens are incredible, and after toying with the idea of "recovery" lunch at restaurants across the Barossa, we were so pleased the weather allowed us to host friends and family in the garden.
Cannot wait to return for anniversaries in the future. Thank you again Jodie.

Wonderful, highly recommended. Lovely setting, wonderful host, every little detail attended to. It was so hard to leave to do some sightseeing as it's so perfect. Great amenities, very central but secluded. I would not hesitate to return.

There are not many places that live up to, and then over exceed on what they promise to deliver with your accommodation. Well, Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage does!!! This is a very special place, with the most delightful hosts who will bend over backwards to ensure your stay in the Barossa Valley is one that you will never forget. Sharyn and Peter look after every single detail and request that you have and do it all with a smile - nothing is too hard or annoying for them. The detail in the cottage from the furnishings, the décor, the beautiful claw foot bath, the local produce and the standout gardens - I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the picture. This is 6 star accommodation!!! And then we have Peter's vineyard which is not only gorgeous to look at, he will take you on a private tour and educate you on his wine (which by the way, is divine and you should buy plenty of it!!). Needless to say, we had the BEST time staying at Seppeltsfield Vineyard Cottage and would highly recommend it for a visit to the Barossa Valley. Wonderful accommodation, wonderful wines and food - all within the Barossa Valley with outstanding hosts - what more could you ask for? Thanks again Sharyn and Peter for one of the best holidays we have ever taken. We will be returning :)

Everytime Geoff uses his knife to prepare dinner for you I'm sure different memories will come back - especially if you're both sipping one of our Seize the Day red wines at the time!
