Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in the historic settlement of Seppeltsfield, by booking your stay at The Lodge at Seppeltsfield. The Lodge at Seppeltsfield was built in 1903 by Udo Seppelt, grandson of Seppeltsfield founder Joseph Seppelt, as his family home. The house provides a quiet and secluded location to settle in and enjoy the region. The house contains five separate guest suites, each with a king size bed (twin available on request), and heritage and period-designed furniture. All suites are equipped with independently operated reverse cycle air conditioning and private en-suite bathrooms. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a member of our friendly team, and a complimentary welcome bottle of Seppeltsfield wine is included in your booking. A traditional full English style Breakfast is provided daily in our gallery, and we can also offer other food options such as cheese platters. The property also provides guests the opportunity to enjoy tranquil gardens, a swimming pool, a summer house, and a barbeque area.

We spent 4 nights in late September at Colin and Phil's delightful B&B. We could not have been better looked after and Colin's local knowledge proved to be invaluable. With only four excellently appointed bedrooms and a very comfortable sitting room which had a roaring fire in the large fireplace throughout our wintery stay we felt very cozy indeed! In fact, sitting on the sofa in front of the fire with a glass (or two) of Barossa shiraz was a most agreeable way to end the day after touring the beautiful countryside on the doorstep. We would certainly recommend a stay at The Lodge and would happily return.

We spent 3 nights at The Lodge in Seppeltsfield.
Such a Beautiful stay.
All rooms are the same size, very large & nice views from the large windows.
Lovely outside veranda to sit and enjoy the gorgeous garden, with rabbits hopping in and out of the shrubs & bushes.

We pre-ordered the 3 course set course dinner and this was all cooked lovingly by Phil and served by Colin. WELL.....Amazing ❤️is the only words we can describe what we had offered for our set menu, Definitely matches any 5 star restaurant
Good selection of Local wines, spirits, beers & non alcoholic drinks.

Each stay includes a great breakfast selection, ranging from selections of toast, cereals through to a fully cooked English Breakfast.
The fruit platter and fresh yoghurt was SUPERB!

Thank you Colin & Phil for such a memorable stay and not forgetting your 2 beautiful English Cocker Spaniels, Elliot & Lilly both popping in each morning for a hello & pat❤️🥰

We were greeted by Colin,Elliot and Lilly at the front door with a very welcoming feeling and wagging tails. This was the foundation for a wonderful stay and a great experience at The Lodge Country House. Our breakfast and 2 incredible dinners that we shared at the house rivalled any Michelin Star restaurants in the world. Phil thankyou for the wonderful food you prepared with such care and attention. Colin's local knowledge was both entertaining and informative he recommended some local restaurants that were absolutely delicious and the service fantastic. The gardens were a delight, the rooms very well appointed. They were spotlessly clean, roomy with a very large window overlooking the vines. It was like being transported back in time, grass tennis court, pool and lush green gardens surrounding. Being opposite Seppeltsfield was both an advantage and great as a landmark for referencing our location. The house has a wonderfully stocked honesty bar. Thankyou for the great hospitality and wonderful stay. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful historic sandstone home, our room had a lovely bay window and very comfortable bed. The hosts are delightful and it was a great atmosphere at breakfast where we chatted with the other guests.
Breakfast options were excellent and the fruit platter was delicious.
Across the road from Seppeltsfield- where you can dine for lunch but not dinner.

We were a party of six and stayed for two nights. The hospitality was excellent, Colin and Phil were warm and welcoming, responding to our arrival request for cheese and fruit and wine with amazing speed and quality. We loved the warm fire blazing whenever we came ‘home’ and the privacy we were afforded. Beds comfy and well fitted bathrooms - good heating! Lovely gardens. Great breakfast and excellent location. We recommend this establishment!

We had 3 wonderful nights here recently. The Lodge is an historic house, set in lovely gardens in a very quiet rural/vineyard area with a beautiful large living area where the fire was always lit & crackling. The rooms are very comfortable with a great king size bed, & quality bedding & bathroom products.

Add to this, the warm, gracious & professional hospitality by our hosts, Colin & Phil.

We felt so welcome, comfortable & private here. Thank you both

We spent 3 nights at this top class B&B. Colin and Phil run this ‘Home away from home’ to perfection. Their attention to detail is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable and everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is superb and sets you up for a day of wine tasting. The property is set in beautiful grounds directly across the road from Seppeltsfield winery. Thank you Phil and Colin for helping to make our time in the Barossa so special. We will definitely return.

We hired the whole Lodge for 4 nights. The whole experience was brilliant. The staff were helpful to allow us to visit the property prior to our time there, so we knew what to expect. They catered for our needs in every way. Every room was comfortably appointed. We made use of the BBQ and Gazebo and it was so pleasant to sit out there as the sun went down.
We also had a private chef come in and do a degustation meal in the formal dining room which was fabulous (the chef was recommended by The Lodge).
It was cold enough to have fires in the evening which always adds to the atmosphere!
It was such a peaceful place to stay for 4 nights right in the fabulous Seppeltsfield Barossa area and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

A great place to stay, nothing was too much trouble for Colin. He was very attentive, a wealth of knowledge on the area and things to do. Great comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast daily including a wonderful fruit platter. We wandered around the beautifully manicured gardens and our stay was very relaxing. We would stay again
